Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, regulatory-minded French Payroll Specialist to join our core global In-House Operations team in a full-time remote capacity within France. In this specialized, high-stakes financial compliance seat, you will claim absolute individual accountability for governing the entire French payroll processing lifecycle from end to end. Moving entirely away from simple data entry formats or unsupervised bookkeeping, you will guarantee the absolute precision, structural accountability, and data hygiene of all client parameters in strict accordance with evolving regional laws. This role demands a proactive financial operator possessing expert-level knowledge of complex local variables (such as RSU stock tracking and non-resident tax metrics) who reconciles data discrepancies aggressively, balances multiple client calendars under pressure, and communicates structural insights smoothly to cross-functional internal implementation cells.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Payroll Lifecycle Governance: Own, execute, and deliver all core monthly payroll activities sequentially for assigned corporate clients in complete alignment with established monthly processing calendars.
- Strict Statutory Compliance Auditing: Audit, evaluate, and verify that all processed payroll components, tax withholding lines, and local contributions comply flawlessly with current French legislation and statutory forms.
- Complex Compensation Ledger Triage: Manage and configure complex, non-standard compensation data blocks natively, including Benefits-in-Kind (BIK), employee stock option plans, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), non-resident profiles, and court order attachments.
- Pre-Processing Reconciliation & Validation: Execute exhaustive background comparisons on pre-processing reports to isolate data discrepancies and identify reporting anomalies before finalizing financial runs.
- Analytical Reporting Platform Uploads: Compile structured monthly financial reports, validate payroll outputs, and execute error-free ledger uploads natively onto CloudPay’s proprietary digital platform ecosystem.
- TeamsRH Software Tracking: Navigate, update, and manage localized user records and collective agreements securely using specialized regional applications, with an advantage placed on TeamsRH software familiarity.
- Implementation Handover Management: Partner closely beside internal Implementation and Onboarding units to guide the successful transition of net-new customer enterprise payroll records into the live In-House operational team grid.
- Audit-Trail Maintenance: Author, archive, and manage clear data records, historical payroll files, and compliance registries to establish an uncompromised, transparent audit trail for corporate and statutory inspectors.
- Spreadsheet Data Optimization: Manipulate, filter, and structure extensive employee compensation arrays and transactional variables natively using advanced functions within Spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven professional history running advanced end-to-end payroll processing, corporate compensation auditing, local tax compliance management, or international accounting operations at a specialist tier.
- Expert-level, authoritative command of local French legal requirements, local social security regulations, collective bargaining codes, and year-end statutory reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated history processing complex internal corporate compensation models, explicitly including equity plans (RSUs/Options) and non-resident fiscal metrics.
- Strong quantitative logic boundaries, with an absolute capacity to build calculations and manage corporate accounting sheets smoothly using **Spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)** and business communication suites.
- Bilingual linguistic capability, with absolute professional fluency in written and spoken French and English (minimum verified English baseline threshold of B2).
- CV Submission Requirement: Absolute requirement to submit a fully written English CV to be eligible for processing within our international tracking tools.
- Location Context: Parameters open exclusively to qualified payroll specialists base-stationed permanently anywhere within France to operate 100% remotely from home.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience operating payroll systems or handling financial compliance tasks within an international corporate matrix or cross-border B2B SaaS consulting firm.
- Hands-on configuration history or technical navigation tracking inside specialized payroll systems like TeamsRH platforms.
- An outcome-driven, forward-thinking mindset with strong time-management habits to plan and organize personal workloads independently without direct oversight.
What We Offer
- The exceptional professional canvas to directly direct, code-shape, and deploy the compliance structures handling payroll and payment stability for the world’s largest distributed workforces.
- Highly competitive baseline salary structures calibrated carefully to match your verified corporate payroll authority and processing speeds.
- Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering superior lifestyle flexibility, complete schedule trust, and zero physical geographical office commuting friction within France.
- Access to an attractive, competitive vacation allowance package to ensure proper rest and energy calibration.
- Immediate enrollment into complete corporate mental wellness tracks, including full access to the **Calm application platform** and dedicated Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
- Comprehensive Private Medical Insurance policy provisions to secure long-term health safety.
- Dedicated workplace benefits, including a specialized **Work From Home (WFH) Allowance** budget, corporate Ticket Restaurant contribution structures, and paid volunteering allocations.
