At Testlio, a global software testing company, we are seeking freelance software testers based in Ireland to test a streaming app on various Smart TVs (Philips, Vestel, JVC) running Titan OS during October and November.

Benefits of being a freelancer at Testlio

  • Schedule: Create your own schedule and work on other testing runs that interest you.
  • Location: 100% remote work—work from anywhere, including coffee shops, home, or while waiting for class.
  • Growth: Test global-scale mobile apps, boost your skills, and grow your career.
  • Payment: Paid by the hour, not by the bug—you get paid even if no bugs are found.

Requirements

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Location: Physically located in Ireland during October and November.
  • Language: Comfortable navigating a streaming app in English. Native or bilingual English preferred.
  • Availability: 30 minutes for account setup. Testing tasks require 2 to 4 hours per run (some may go up to 12 hours). Flexible scheduling discussed per task.
  • Devices: Must have a Smart TV running Titan OS (Philips TV, Vestel TV, JVC TV). Verify your TV’s OS—only Titan OS is in scope.
  • Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but new testers can participate after completing free preparatory courses.

What does testing look like?

  • Type of testing: Functional testing.
  • Type of work: Short-term, freelance.
  • Examples of tasks:
    • Install the app build on your TV device following provided instructions.
    • Execute test cases covering navigation, playback, login/account behavior, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and overall functional quality.
    • Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots/recordings.
    • Provide feedback on issues found during each run.
  • Pay rate: Starts at 15 USD/hr.
  • Payment: Paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer. Amount sent in USD, convertible to EUR if preferred.

Their primary target audience spans high-growth tech startups, top-tier media broadcasters, and Fortune 500 enterprises who need to release software faster without sacrificing quality or overwhelming their internal engineering resources.
