Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Founding Growth & Marketing Lead to build and own our complete marketing infrastructure from the ground up in a full-time remote capacity within Toronto, Canada. Operating as a critical early-stage leader, you will claim individual strategic accountability for formulating Ribbon’s global brand voice, building automated demand generation pipelines, and establishing absolute category dominance within the rapidly expanding AI-powered interviewing sector. Shifting completely away from traditional siloed corporate management or relying on massive creative agencies, you will function as a hands-on builder executing across product marketing, content, events, email curation, and sales enablement frameworks. This founding seat requires a gritty B2B SaaS marketing veteran with 5–8+ years of startup background who transforms complex technical ideas into clear, sharp revenue stories fluidly, collaborates directly with the founders, and thrives inside an urgent, first-principles product environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Founding Marketing Engine Construction: Architect, scale, and govern Ribbon’s complete multi-channel marketing blueprint from scratch, spanning demand generation, product marketing, content curation, and customer loyalty tracks.
  • High-Yield Qualified Pipeline Generation: Design and deploy multi-tier demand gen strategies, webinars, website optimization flows, and programmatic nurture sequences natively utilizing Lead Generation tools to convert awareness into scalable revenue.
  • Category-Defining Narrative Scripting: Author, iterate, and refine standout thought leadership components, founder point-of-view briefs, and industry-facing whitepapers natively leveraging Content Writer methodologies to frame the future of hiring.
  • Multi-Channel Revenue Storytelling: Turn customer case studies, net-new software feature launches, and data-driven recruiting insights into multi-platform campaigns targeting LinkedIn, email streams, and product landing properties.
  • Cross-Functional Commercial Alignment: Partner peer-to-peer alongside Sales, Customer Success, and the founding team to sharpen localized outbound messaging, support priority account engagement, and maximize event ROI.
  • Data-Driven Funnel Analytics: Run continuous quantitative audits across the entire customer acquisition journey, measuring conversion benchmarks, email open metrics, and event traction loops to refine growth algorithms.
  • Sales Enablement Content Governance: Compile and centralize commercial sales collateral, pitch playbooks, competitor positioning matrices, and product sheets to equip outbound sales reps with high-converting assets.
  • Innovative Product Interview Assessment: Engage directly with Ribbon’s custom voice-AI technology, experiencing the platform’s performance firsthand through an automated 24/7 technical screening layer during the application cycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of verified professional history running advanced B2B SaaS growth marketing, enterprise demand generation, corporate product marketing management, or full-lifecycle startup GTM consulting.
  • Proven track record successfully launching, managing, and scaling customer acquisition pipelines and automated outbound nurturing loops that directly generated verifiable contract revenues natively leveraging Lead Generation workflows.
  • Expert-tier copywriting proficiency writing clean, highly engaging B2B narratives, email sequences, website scripts, and enterprise case studies natively using Content Writer best practices.
  • Demonstrated history operating as a self-directed, hands-on visual and text builder inside an early-stage or hyper-growth tech startup without requiring large team infrastructure or perfect legacy processes.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, combining creative aesthetic logic with a practical, data-driven approach to rapidly measure and iterate campaign outcomes.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication mechanics, with an absolute capacity to influence cross-functional technical teams and present abstract product concepts concisely.
