Strata Information Group (operating at sigcorp.com) is a higher education-focused IT services and consulting platform engineered for institutional transformation. Founded in 1988 by industry leaders Henry Eimstad and Frank Vaskelis and headquartered in San Diego, California, SIG specializes in dismantling operational inefficiencies within colleges and universities. Rather than merely selling technology, it provides end-to-end solutions—strategic guidance, ERP/CRM implementation, cloud migration, and cybersecurity hardening—that align with the unique demands of academia. Under the hood, SIG combines decades of sector expertise with tailored systems integration, ensuring seamless adoption and long-term scalability. This allows 1000+ institutions to streamline administrative workflows, reduce silos, and allocate resources more effectively toward student success. While privately held, SIG’s legacy of over three decades underscores its role as a trusted advisor in higher education’s digital evolution.
