The Opportunity 🚀

Carrot is seeking a Fertility Medical Expert (RN, NP, or PA) for a 3-month contract, working 15+ hours/week remotely. This role involves providing evidence-informed guidance on fertility topics to members via virtual sessions, ensuring they feel informed and supported without diagnosing or prescribing.

You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of medical experts across fertility, pregnancy, urology, mental health, and nutrition, focusing on continuous learning and evidence-based care.

What You’ll Own 💼

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing evidence-informed guidance on fertility evaluation, testing, treatment options, and family-building pathways
• Conducting one-on-one virtual sessions to educate members without diagnosing or prescribing
• Staying updated on US reproductive and fertility regulatory trends
• Participating in quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance and high standards
• Collaborating with the Medical Experts team and cross-functional partners
• Maintaining a flexible schedule (~15 hours/week) to meet member demand

What Success Looks Like 📈

In your first 30 days, you’ll:

• Deliver high-quality, well-rated fertility sessions that empower members
• Adhere to non-diagnostic, non-directive scope of practice and documentation standards
• Meet agreed weekly hours and communicate proactively about scheduling
• Ramp up quickly and work independently in a confidential, remote environment
• Build trusted relationships with the Medical Experts team

About You ✨

Required qualifications:

• Active US license as an RN, NP, or PA
• 3+ years of experience in fertility or reproductive health clinics
• Excellent listening and empathetic communication skills
• Ability to work independently and provide non-directive guidance
• Reliable remote work setup with internet and digital resources
• Flexibility for 15 hours/week over 3 months

Nice to Have ⭐

Preferred but not required:

• Experience in third-party reproduction (e.g., surrogacy, donor gametes), urology, pregnancy, or menopause
• Experience in digital health or telehealth settings
• Prior contract or consulting experience
• Fluency in an additional language
