Mission Lane is combining the power of data, technology, and exceptional service to pave a clear way forward for millions of people on the path to financial success.
We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support Mission Lane’s executive team, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer with matrixed support to other senior executives.
The impact you'll make:
A Mission Lane cardholder is working toward something specific: paying down a balance, building a credit history strong enough to qualify for their first apartment, saving toward a goal they've been chasing for months. Their progress depends on Mission Lane’s leadership making sound decisions, quarter after quarter, that take time and focus to get right. The Executive Assistant is vital to our customers’ progress by protecting, prioritizing, and organizing our leadership’s time.
Day-to-day as Executive Assistant, you will:
- Manage complex, frequently shifting calendars for multiple executives, resolving conflicts and anticipating scheduling needs before they surface.
- Coordinate logistics, agendas, and materials for Executive Committee meetings, Board meetings, leadership offsites, and town halls.
- Arrange detailed travel itineraries, including flights, lodging, and ground transportation, for executive trips.
- Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, presentations, and reports on behalf of the executives you support, exercising sound judgment with confidential information.
- Process and reconcile expense reports, invoices, and purchase requests in line with company policy.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the executives you support and their leadership teams, other Executive Committee members, Board members, regulators, and external partners.
- Attend select leadership meetings, taking notes and tracking action items through to completion, and follow up with stakeholders to keep them on schedule.
- Partner with the Facilities & Events Manager to execute team offsites and department events, including budget and vendor coordination.
- Partner with the Executive Assistant supporting the CEO to align scheduling practices and provide backup coverage across the executive suite.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
You'll thrive in this role if:
- You can look at a leader’s day and know what needs their attention and what can wait, based on your understanding of the business.
- You've already built your own systems and approach for managing someone’s calendar, inbox, and priorities, and you're ready to apply them here while being open to adjusting them as you learn how we work.
- You've worked inside a bank or another regulated environment, so confidentiality and process are already second nature.
Minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-suite or senior executives, ideally within financial services or fintech.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, competing calendars and to handle confidential and sensitive information with sound judgment and discretion.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace and Mac, along with expense and travel management platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent executives professionally with the Board, regulators, and external partners.
- Proven ability to build trusted working relationships with senior executives, Board members, and cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- High degree of professionalism, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to travel 6+ times per year for high-quality in-person collaboration.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting executives within a regulated bank, credit union, or other depository institution.
- Familiarity with Board and Board Committee meeting logistics, materials preparation, and governance practices.
- Bachelor’s degree.
