About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, highly organized Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of our conference and trade show portfolio. This role will own the end-to-end event lifecycle - from sponsorship evaluation and pre-event strategy through onsite execution, lead follow-up, and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional operator who understands how to turn industry events into meaningful opportunities to build brand awareness, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and create and accelerate pipeline.

What You'll Do

  • Help define the strategy, planning, and execution of conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and related field experiences.
  • Manage all event logistics, including sponsorship deliverables, booth production, vendors, shipping, registration, staffing, travel, and onsite operations.
  • Develop event objectives, audience strategies, activation plans, timelines, budgets, and success metrics.
  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Partnerships, Product Marketing, and Executive Leadership to align each event with business priorities.
  • Create integrated pre-event, onsite, and post-event engagement plans that increase attendance, drive qualified conversations, and accelerate opportunities.
  • Lead booth strategy and experience design, including messaging, demonstrations, meetings, executive engagements, and branded activations.
  • Identify opportunities for ancillary experiences, including executive dinners, customer gatherings, partner events, and strategic prospect meetings.
  • Manage speaker submissions, session logistics, presentation requirements, and thought-leadership opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for conference organizers, venues, production partners, agencies, and other vendors.
  • Prepare internal event briefs, staffing plans, executive communications, training materials, and onsite run-of-show documents.
  • Ensure event leads are accurately captured, routed, and followed up on in partnership with Sales and Marketing Operations.
  • Measure event performance against defined KPIs, including engagement, sourced and influenced pipeline, opportunity acceleration, and return on investment.
  • Lead post-event debriefs and translate insights into recommendations for future investment and program optimization.
  • Maintain the annual event calendar and manage multiple programs simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and brand standards are met.
  • Travel regularly to provide hands-on leadership and onsite execution.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience managing conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, or B2B field marketing programs.
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport event materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Proven success managing complex, high-visibility events from strategy through execution.
  • Strong understanding of how events support brand awareness, thought leadership, pipeline creation, and opportunity acceleration.
  • Exceptional project management, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, vendors, agencies, and production partners.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, executives, partners, speakers, and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and overlapping deadlines.
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, project management, and event technology platforms.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–40%, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, accounting, audit, risk, or professional services.
  • Experience developing executive experiences, customer events, and partner activations alongside major conferences.
  • Familiarity with attribution, pipeline reporting, lead management, and event ROI analysis.
  • Experience managing national or international conference portfolios.
  • Proficiency with Monday.com, HubSpot, and Claude for project management, campaign execution, event reporting, and workflow efficiency.
