Position Overview

We are seeking a highly detailed, analytical, and process-oriented Estate Planning Strategist to join our specialized Wealth Solutions group under a permanent, full-time remote configuration open throughout the United States. In this high-leverage legacy protection and advisory seat, you will act as a primary legal consulting asset—owning the independent evaluation, structuring, and execution of complex estate and trust frameworks for high-net-worth (HNW) clients. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated administrative data entry logs, basic website changes, or generic helpdesk support tickets, you will operate an active cross-functional wealth preservation, multi-jurisdictional tax law synthesis, and document compliance laboratory. Partnering directly beside distributed financial planners, wealth advisors, and portfolio managers, you will serve as the nationwide subject matter expert on advanced transfer taxation and asset routing parameters. This position requires an attorney holding a Juris Doctor (JD) and a state bar license who interprets statutory guidelines fluidly natively using Legal Consultant, Contract Law, and Research primitives, commands strong client-facing presentation agility, and leads day-to-day coordination parameters confidently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Estate Plan Architecture Governance: Lead independent technical consultations with regional wealth advisors and internal teams to systematically review, asset-fund, and maintain complex estate architectures natively utilizing Legal Consultant best practices.
  • Document Analysis & Amendment Triage: Review and draft detailed summaries of existing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and corporate organizational documents, providing strategic recommendations based on shifting statutory frameworks.
  • Nationwide Advisory Support: Serve as the premier in-house legal advisor on trust, estate, and local transfer tax questions, answering complex inquires from distributed advisory channels across the country.
  • Statutory Legislation Monitoring: Maintain cutting-edge, proactive command over shifting federal and state estate tax legislation, trust codes, and relevant medico-legal obligations natively deploying Research methodologies.
  • Business Development & Thought Leadership: Support firm acquisition goals by authoring authoritative thought-leadership publications and delivering presentations on advanced legacy wealth strategies to prospective HNW accounts.
  • Contractual & Structural Integrity Control: Audit asset titling, beneficiary designations, and funding parameters to ensure absolute alignment with underlying Contract Law obligations and trust intents.
  • Operational Team Mentorship: Oversee, train, and provide technical guidance to assigned service specialists, managing daily task priorities, calendar allocations, and performance coaching metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess a formal Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice law in good standing within at least one state bar jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated capacity to effortlessly decompose and communicate highly complex, ambiguous estate planning topics, tax laws, and asset protections to both wealth management professionals and lay clients.
  • Strong project tracking and organizational agility, with a willingness and ability to travel up to 25% to support regional team syncs or client presentations.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and textual presentation communication strengths in English, with a documented history managing complex legal scenarios with absolute professionalism.
  • Location Context: Position operates under remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified estate planning attorneys residing permanently within the United States.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Possess 2–6 years of dedicated, successful professional legal history operating as an Estate Planning Attorney, Trust Officer, Wealth Solutions Specialist, or closely matching tech-enabled asset advisory capacity.
  • Prior experience operating within a prominent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), private wealth management firm, corporate trust office, or high-end multi-family office ecosystem.
  • Background coaching administrative assistants or managing scheduling queues inside a multi-disciplinary financial solutions environment.
