Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Technician 3:
Perform soil, groundwater, wastewater, and stormwater sampling, site inspections, and other data collection.
Perform remediation system operations and maintenance.
Maintain field notes and prepare summary trip reports of field activities.
Observe safe work practices.
What we're looking for:
- A GED or High School diploma.
- 8-12 years of experience.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently to achieve specified tasks.
- Stable employment history and favorable employment references.
- Track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Own reliable transportation.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and work under inclement weather conditions.
- Up to 100% travel performing site inspections, operations and maintenance, and/or field sampling at multiple sites throughout the South Atlantic territory.
