Nuna is revolutionizing healthcare by building an AI health coach that acts as a patient’s advocate, available 24/7, to help manage chronic conditions in real life—not just in a clinic. Their mission is to restore patients’ lives by addressing the gaps left by traditional healthcare systems.

Nuna was recently selected to join the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Health Tech Ecosystem, a landmark public-private initiative aimed at transforming healthcare for Americans.

Your Team

Nuna’s Customer Success team oversees the entire customer journey post-sale, including implementation, account management, support, retention, renewal, and expansion. They are healthcare experts who configure and optimize Nuna’s patient engagement solutions to drive adoption, measurable outcomes, and lasting value. By fostering trusted partnerships and delivering exceptional service, they help customers engage patients at scale.

The Role

As the EHR Integration Lead, you will lead end-to-end technical integrations connecting Nuna’s SaaS platform with major health systems. Your responsibilities include:

  • Translating clinical operational needs into clear technical requirements.
  • Guiding cross-functional teams to build repeatable deployment playbooks.
  • Ensuring Nuna reaches more patients effectively.

What You’ll Do

Lead enterprise EHR integrations:

  • Own integrations between Nuna’s SaaS platform and healthcare partners’ EHR systems, from discovery and scoping through launch and optimization.
  • Partner with Sales and Growth to scope integrations for prospective customers, shape the technical approach, and produce clear, client-ready solution materials (architecture, integration options, and requirements) to build confidence and accelerate deal closures.

Define integration requirements and approach:

  • Collaborate with health system stakeholders to translate clinical workflows, technical requirements, and business goals into actionable integration plans. This includes authoring detailed integration specifications, data mappings, and decision logs.

Drive cross-functional execution:

  • Align internal Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams with partner IT and clinical teams to manage dependencies, resolve obstacles, and deliver successful launches. Facilitate technical working sessions with interface engineers, EHR and FHIR analysts, and middleware partners.

Serve as a trusted integration expert:

  • Guide enterprise partners through integration decisions, clearly communicate tradeoffs, and establish shared expectations for scope, timelines, and outcomes.

Build scalable integration practices:

  • Develop repeatable playbooks, documentation, and processes that improve delivery consistency and reduce onboarding time for new partners. Create prospect-facing integration guides used in the sales process.

Ensure integrations deliver lasting value:

  • Establish success measures, coordinate validation and launch readiness, and drive improvements that support reliable data exchange and effective clinical workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven track record leading enterprise EHR integrations, specifically delivering end-to-end Epic implementations.
  • 3–5 years of experience deploying SaaS solutions for external clients, with a focus on Epic health systems.
  • Strong technical fluency in bidirectional integrations, HL7 v2 (ORM/ORU), and FHIR (R4 / SMART on FHIR) across orders, write-backs, remote monitoring data, and reads.
  • Ability to translate clinical workflows and business requirements into clear technical specs, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional partner IT, vendor, and internal engineering teams through working sessions, testing, launch, and secure PHI management.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple integrations simultaneously, mitigate risks, and resolve technical obstacles.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical tradeoffs and build consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead by influence as a senior individual contributor with high ownership and attention to detail.

Bonus Points

  • Experience delivering integrations with additional EHR platforms.
  • Ability to configure interfaces, build APIs, or troubleshoot data flows to resolve issues independently.
  • Epic certifications or healthcare system IT/clinical informatics experience.
  • Experience in healthcare SaaS or fast-paced startup environments.
  • Technical pre-sales or integration solutioning experience.
  • Familiarity with integration tooling and security (Redox, VPN, SFTP, SSO/SAML, OAuth 2.0).
  • Knowledge of clinical coding (LOINC, ICD-10), data mappings, acceptance criteria, and decision logs.
  • Background in RPM, chronic disease management, value-based care, quality reporting, and CMS models.
  • A track record of building reusable integration playbooks, documentation, and scalable processes.

Nuna Inc. (operating under nuna.com) is the premier, enterprise-grade healthcare data platform, value-based care infrastructure pioneer, and actuarial intelligence innovator engineered to operate as the definitive, high-velocity data curation, quality management, and pricing optimization layer for the world's largest health plans, self-insured employers, and government healthcare systems. The company completely eliminates the severe systemic friction of modern healthcare operations—where payers and providers battle massive, fragmented healthcare data registries, unoptimized value-based payment models, opaque clinical quality benchmarks, and costly claims reconciliation bottlenecks—by deploying a unified, cloud-native data-matching and cloud-edge infrastructure. Moving far beyond traditional, passive electronic data interchange routers or generic data warehouses, Nuna natively unifies deep, multi-source multi-tenant data ingestion, high-concurrency provider attribution modeling, comprehensive clinical cost profiling, and real-time performance tracking networks into its signature data products. Trusted by massive healthcare payers, commercial enterprises, and government projects—including historical architecture of the national Medicaid data platform covering over 70 million lives—the system accelerates complex value-based plan design with production-hardened precision. Under the hood, its sophisticated technical practice orchestrates privacy-first data scrubbing algorithms matching strict HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements, automated predictive modeling for healthcare risks, and deep data linkages that convert messy claims histories into structured, actionable relational databases. What sets Nuna apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing administrative data paralysis with absolute operational clarity and patient care value; by bridging the gap between highly complex actuarial data pools and frontline care quality maximization, the institution remains the definitive cornerstone of modern data-driven health equity and programmatic value-based execution.
