Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Document Processing Contractor (internally designated as our New Accounts Documentation & KYC Specialist) to join our core centralized New Accounts team in a full-time remote capacity within Hong Kong. In this critical operational seat, you will claim individual administrative accountability for protecting our onboarding compliance gate, verifying the absolute accuracy, completeness, and legitimacy of information datasets provided by international applicants. Moving completely away from basic automated database logging or passive clerical record-keeping, you will function as a high-integrity problem solver embedded within a fast-moving, highly regulated financial technology environment. This position demands a diligent, structured professional who reviews identification parameters fluidly, executes background screening checks smoothly under time pressure, and interfaces comfortably with distributed cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Volume Account Ingestion Data Validation: Input, monitor, and validate incoming account parameters and registration packets to check total data consistency natively utilizing Data Entry best practices.
- KYC and Onboarding Document Screening: Inspect and audit submitted identity proofs, residency files, and corporate credentials to guarantee strict alignment with established international banking compliance metrics.
- Outstanding Documentation Follow-Up: Manage proactive written follow-up cadences with global clients, clearly communicating programmatic steps to collect incomplete or outstanding administrative paperwork.
- Spreadsheet and Database Registry Upkeep: Update, structure, and maintain internal client verification grids and multi-stage applicant data tables natively leveraging Spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
- Registered Mail Delivery Coordination: Provide high-precision administrative support for managing secure physical registered mail distributions and tracking internal validation receipts.
- Process Flows and Backlog Optimization: Offer general high-touch administrative support to the broader New Accounts unit, identifying data processing bottlenecks to elevate onboarding velocity.
- Multilingual Profile Evaluation: Navigate and parse varied international registration names and directories, leveraging an advantage from additional languages and familiarity with Chinese pinyin.
- Independent Multi-Task Governance: Coordinate and prioritize multiple screening workstreams simultaneously within a high-volume startup-speed context, maintaining an uncompromised focus on quality metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven professional history running advanced data entry, client onboarding operations, contract administration, document processing helpdesk tracking, or banking compliance assistant roles.
- Deep, authoritative understanding of data validation criteria, showing a production-tested capacity to manage high-volume transactional logs under tight time constraints.
- Practical operational familiarity organizing, updating, and querying complex dataset rows and registration cells natively leveraging Spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and basic PC tools.
- Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, with a natural inclination toward structural precision, data hygiene, and finding solutions when processing ambiguous files.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics in fluent English, demonstrating an absolute capacity to coordinate seamlessly with international team units and outline compliance rules clearly to users.
- Location Context: Parameters open exclusively to qualified document handlers base-stationed permanently within **Hong Kong** to execute production duties under a 100% remote work-from-home model.
