Our client is a global leader in fleet management technology and services, helping organizations plan, transition, operate, and optimize zero-emission vehicle fleets. Founded in Australia in 2016, our client supports more than 200 fleets across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, serving transit agencies, government organizations, utilities, logistics providers, and other operators of complex, mission-critical fleets.

The client’s integrated portfolio combines advanced software, technical advisory services, and ongoing EV Managed Services (EVMS) to support customers throughout the fleet electrification transition. Their technology solutions, including their Asset, Plan, and Manage platforms, leverage advanced modeling, digital twin technology, artificial intelligence, and real-time operational data to help customers make informed investment decisions, plan fleet and charging infrastructure deployments, manage energy and charging operations, and improve fleet reliability and performance.

The Global Advisory and EVMS teams complement the technology platforms by providing specialized expertise in fleet electrification strategy, infrastructure planning, implementation support, operational performance assessments, proactive asset monitoring, energy optimization, and continuous improvement.

The Director of EVMS Delivery, APAC is responsible for the successful delivery and growth of the client's EV Managed Services business across the Asia-Pacific region. The role combines structured problem-solving and customer leadership with commercial and technical fluency. It owns regional delivery quality, customer outcomes, team performance, and the continued development of an EVMS offering that complements existing advisory and consulting services.

Working closely with the Global Head of EVMS across APAC Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, this role translates complex customer needs into practical managed-service solutions. It leads discovery, solution shaping, scope definition, implementation planning, and executive communication, ensuring commitments are commercially sound, technically credible, and deliverable in real fleet environments.

The role provides direct leadership and oversight of the APAC EVMS delivery team, establishing clear governance, delivery methods, service rhythms, resource plans, and performance expectations. It reports directly to the Global Head of EVMS but collaborates with colleagues in other regions and contributes APAC insights to company-wide practices.

Success in this role will strengthen customer trust, improve service performance and delivery predictability, build a high-performing regional team, and support sustainable revenue growth by making the client the partner customers rely on to turn fleet electrification strategy into dependable operational outcomes.

How This Role Embodies Our Client’s Core Values

🌿 Eco Active – This role is deeply rooted in sustainability, driving decarbonization initiatives and helping companies transition toward greener, more efficient fleet solutions. The person in this role must lead by example, advocating for climate-positive innovation and ensuring solutions actively reduce environmental impact.

💡 Clear & Transparent – Transparency is key in this position. This leader must clearly articulate strategic roadmaps, provide inputs for product development, and market insights to both internal teams and external stakeholders. A commitment to honest communication and data-driven decision-making ensures trust and alignment.

🚀 Transformative – This is not just about adapting to change—it's about leading it. This role must envision the future of sustainable transport, transforming existing offerings into cutting-edge, industry-defining solutions that provide long-term value to clients.

🤝 Empathy for Customers and Each Other – Understanding client needs is at the heart of this role. The leader must deeply engage with fleet operators, business leaders, and internal teams to co-create impactful solutions that address the challenges of sustainable mobility. Internally, this role must foster collaboration and trust, ensuring teams are supported in executing high-impact work.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Growth & Development Leadership

  • Shape the one- and three-year direction of EV Managed Services in APAC with the Global Head of EVMS, aligning regional priorities with the client's broader business strategy and customer value proposition.
  • Develop the regional service portfolio, delivery model, and market positioning using customer insight, operational data, and a clear view of APAC fleet-electrification customer needs.
  • Lead cross-functional regional work with Sales, Advisory, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to refine offerings that combine software, consulting expertise, and accountable operational support.
  • Identify practical opportunities for regional expansion while ensuring scope, capacity, delivery risk, and commercial assumptions remain realistic.

Thought Leadership & Industry Influence

  • Serve as a credible APAC industry expert in fleet decarbonization, electric-fleet operations, charging, energy, and the transition from planning into day-to-day service delivery.
  • Represent the client at customer forums, conferences, panels, and partner events, communicating complex issues clearly to executive, operational, and technical audiences.
  • Develop decision-ready presentations, practical insights, and thought-leadership content that strengthen customer understanding and the client's position in the APAC market.

APAC EVMS Delivery & Project Management Oversight

  • Own the performance of the APAC EVMS PMO from sales handover and mobilization to project delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain clear regional governance, service rhythms, delivery methods, decision rights, escalation paths, performance reporting, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of EVMS to actively manage local resourcing with global demand balancing utilization, dependencies, service performance, and delivery risk, intervening early when customer outcomes or commitments are at risk.

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Partner with APAC Sales and account managers during qualification and discovery, bringing consulting depth, industry expertise, and a credible delivery perspective to customer conversations.
  • Translate customer needs into integrated EVMS solutions with clear outcomes, service models, scope, assumptions, dependencies, governance, resourcing, and measures of success.
  • Contribute to proposals, presentations, demonstrations, procurement responses, partnerships, and commercial discussions, while identifying responsible upsell and cross-sell opportunities that increase customer value.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the APAC EVMS delivery team, setting clear expectations for customer leadership, technical quality, consulting discipline, commercial awareness, and personal ownership.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of EVMS to increase regional delivery capability by leveraging AI to increase team capacity and throughput without proportionate headcount growth.
  • Establish a resource plan to recruit and onboard team members as required and develop reusable methods, tools, and knowledge-sharing routines.
  • Create an inclusive culture of excellence, initiative, collaboration, and accountability in which issues are surfaced early and people are supported to deliver their best work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing and launching new products or solutions in a corporate, management consulting, or startup environment.
  • 5-7 years of experience in management consulting, professional services, or complex solution delivery, including leadership of customer-facing teams and multi-workstream engagements, preferably in mobility, energy, or fleet management.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, particularly in sustainability, decarbonization, or future mobility trends.
  • Proven experience in management consulting, solutions engineering, pre-sales, tender leadership, and business development, with the ability to shape technical and operational solutions alongside Sales.
  • Deep industry knowledge across electric mobility, fleets, transport, charging, electricity markets, or adjacent infrastructure experience, with the credibility to advise senior customer stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and emerging technologies in transport analytics is a plus.
  • Strong delivery and commercial management experience, including scope, governance, contracts, service performance, risk, resourcing, utilization, and engagement economics.
  • A demonstrated record of leading, coaching, recruiting, and retaining high-performing multidisciplinary teams through growth and change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive presentations, workshops, proposal development, public speaking, and the ability to make complex topics clear.
  • Experience working across APAC markets and cultures, strong business acumen, a self-starting approach, and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
