Job Description

As a product and disease state expert within Medical Affairs, the Director, Medical Publications and Scientific Communications, will provide medical, scientific, and technical expertise to support scientific communications planning and to provide essential medical support in all facets of product lifecycle.

The role involves developing, managing, and tracking scientific communications plans, including the creation and review of publications, abstracts, and congress presentations for medical and scientific content accuracy. The Director will ensure compliance with publication-related policies and procedures and contribute to building a best-in-class medical communication organization at Replimune. They will ensure that data generated from corporate- and investigator-sponsored studies with Replimune products are communicated in an accurate, timely, compliant, and compelling manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the clinical team and relevant stakeholders to refine and implement a scientific communication platform and medical communication plan for Replimune.
  • Assist in the development and review of content for abstracts, publications, congress presentations, monographs, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest science and data in the field, contributing significantly to the creation, collection, and dissemination of actionable business-relevant scientific insights to key stakeholders and customer segments, especially during critical product launches.
  • Develop in-depth therapeutic knowledge of disease, epidemiology, product, and competitor product information, acting as a resource for others outside Medical Affairs.
  • Create and/or review communications containing medical and scientific content for internal and external audiences, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Proactively engage and collaborate closely with members of other internal teams.
  • Identify, collect, and provide relevant information and input into business activities such as product and competitor insights, medical product plans, deliverables, new business assessments, and other requests.
  • Serve as the authoritative source of medical/scientific expertise and oversee the collection and storage of relevant scientific information (e.g., literature repository, Replimune data).
