Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, business development teams, product marketers, digital marketers, and external agencies, the Director will manage and enrich a scalable content engine that drives reach, reputation, engagement, and qualified leads. This individual will leverage audience insights, competitive intelligence, and performance analytics to ensure every content investment contributes to Precision's growth strategy and brand differentiation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and govern brand voice, storytelling standards, messaging architecture, and content principles across marketing channels.
  • Partner with commercial, scientific, and executive leadership to identify priority market opportunities and translate them into compelling brand stories.
  • Strengthen Precision's position as a recognized thought leader across clinical research, precision medicine, biomarkers, biospecimens, and laboratory sciences.
  • Ensure content and campaigns consistently support brand awareness, market credibility, and business growth objectives.

Content Strategy & Editorial Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with corporate growth priorities, audience needs, and business development objectives.
  • Own the content roadmap and editorial calendar across multiple service lines, industries, and buyer personas.
  • Lead the creation and distribution of high-value content including articles, blogs, white papers, eBooks, case studies, webinars, podcasts, videos, sales enablement materials, social media content, and conference presentations.
  • Build content programs that support every stage of the buyer journey.
  • Drive content repurposing and atomization strategies to maximize reach and return on investment.

Thought Leadership & Scientific Storytelling

  • Partner with subject matter experts, scientific leaders, clinicians, and business executives to identify compelling insights and transform them into market-facing content.
  • Create programs that elevate Precision experts across industry publications, conferences, webinars, podcasts, and earned media opportunities.
  • Work closely with public relations and communications teams to amplify key narratives and company differentiators.
  • Identify emerging industry trends and develop content that positions Precision at the forefront of innovation.

Inbound Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Develop content programs that generate qualified leads and support account-based marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external digital marketing specialists to optimize content distribution through email, SEO, paid media, social media, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Develop calls-to-action, landing pages, lead magnets, nurture streams, and content experiences that move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Partner closely with Business Development and Inside Sales teams to ensure effective utilization of content throughout the buyer journey.

Digital Content & Experience Optimization

  • Collaborate on SEO strategy and content optimization to increase visibility, engagement, and organic traffic.
  • Ensure content experiences are optimized across websites, social channels, email programs, and emerging digital platforms.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve content discoverability through evolving search technologies and AI-enabled discovery.

Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Achieve content marketing KPIs aligned with brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and revenue influence.
  • Analyze content performance, digital engagement, and customer behavior across channels.
  • Deliver regular reporting and strategic recommendations to marketing and executive leadership.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor internal content marketers and external contractors, agencies, writers, designers, and production partners.
  • Serve as a strategic connector between marketing, business development, commercial leaders, scientific experts, and corporate communications.
  • Manage content development budgets, resource allocation, and annual content planning processes.
  • Establish scalable workflows, governance models, and best practices that improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
