We're Jamal and Ali, the founders of Your Social Currency - a fast-growing social media agency working with some of the biggest founders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs in the UK.

Our team helps high-level personal brands create content that actually performs - from raw footage all the way through to publishing and growth. We're building something serious, and we're proud of the calibre of clients we work with and the results we deliver.

We care about clean execution and creative quality, and we're building a team of switched-on people who feel the same. If that sounds like you, you'll fit right in!

Right now, we're looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to join our team.

This is a hands-on digital design role focused primarily on creating exceptional Instagram carousels and other social content for high-profile founders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs. You'll also shape brand systems and occasionally design landing pages and other digital assets.

Graphic design is the core skill we're hiring for. Copywriting is a valuable secondary skill: you'll need to understand messaging and write or refine concise supporting copy, but you will not be responsible for building funnels or marketing automations.

This role is ideal for a versatile digital designer with excellent visual judgement, strong typography and composition skills, and a portfolio that shows genuine range across brands and styles.

In this role, you will:

  • Design polished, high-impact Instagram carousels for founders and personal brands
  • Develop distinct visual directions that feel tailored to each client's brand rather than relying on a single repeatable style
  • Create brand packs and style guides, including typography, colour, layout, and visual-system recommendations
  • Make confident typography decisions, including font pairing, hierarchy, spacing, and strategic text placement
  • Create poster-style and editorial compositions that combine lettering, portraits, and other imagery
  • Occasionally design landing pages with strong visual hierarchy and an understanding of how designs translate to responsive web builds
  • Turn ideas, raw content, and copy into clear visual stories that hold attention from the first slide to the last
  • Write or refine supporting hooks, headlines, captions, and carousel copy when needed
  • Build reusable design systems and templates without making every client or piece of content look the same
  • Present your design rationale clearly and respond constructively to feedback
  • Manage multiple client projects and deliver high-quality work at a fast, reliable pace
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters, content strategists, clients, and the wider YSC team
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to speed up research and iteration while keeping the final work original, considered, and brand-specific

Working Hours: This is a full-time role with working hours between 8 AM and 5 PM UK time. We're focused on outcomes rather than micromanagement, but we do expect reliability, responsiveness, and strong communication throughout the workday.

Within your first few months, you'll be confidently delivering varied, brand-specific Instagram carousels, contributing to brand packs and style guides, and supporting occasional landing-page projects with minimal oversight.

Over time, there is an opportunity to take greater ownership of creative direction and grow toward a senior designer or art-direction path as the business expands.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need:

  • A strong portfolio of digital graphic design work that demonstrates clear variety across brands, formats, and visual styles
  • Advanced typography, composition, visual hierarchy, and text-placement skills
  • Experience designing social-first content, especially multi-slide Instagram carousels
  • Experience creating or contributing to brand identities, brand packs, and style guides
  • Strong working knowledge of professional design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma; Canva fluency is also useful
  • Experience designing for digital channels, with an understanding of landing pages, responsive layouts, and practical web constraints
  • Good copy judgement and the ability to write or improve concise hooks, headlines, and supporting social copy
  • Comfortable working independently, making design decisions, and taking ownership from brief to final delivery
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, openness to feedback, and the ability to explain your creative choices

Brownie points:

  • Experience designing landing pages and understanding how designs are implemented in code
  • Agency, creator, coaching, or personal-branding experience
  • Motion design, animation, or video-editing skills
  • Experience using AI tools to improve speed and exploration without sacrificing originality or design quality

The ideal candidate is a proactive designer with strong taste who notices the details others miss. You can move confidently between different brands and aesthetics, explain why a design works, and resist one-size-fits-all solutions.

Your portfolio should show breadth, originality, and advanced design judgement - not the same template-led carousel repeated across multiple projects. You use AI and templates as tools, not substitutes for typography, composition, and original creative thinking.

Benefits

What’s in it for you?

  • £2,000-£2,500 per month
  • Full-time role, fully remote
  • UK hours & remote working environment focused on results

*Please note that this is a gross salary and that you are responsible for any tax-related procedures in your country of residence. We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor.
