In order to keep us working well as a team, we have regular communication, including Town Halls, departmental all-hands, and get-togethers. When you join Splice, you join a network of colleagues, peers, and collaborators.
THE ROLE: Splice’s Brand Marketing team is looking for a Designer who ships strong creative work fast and owns it end to end, bringing the brand to life across ads, product campaigns, social media, and lifecycle marketing, while partnering with the Design Lead on larger initiatives across Splice’s growing ecosystem of music tools.
The ideal candidate thrives in startup-style environments. They’re comfortable working without a large design org around them day to day and making smart calls on their own. They iterate rapidly to produce experimental, of-the-moment work that stays true to Splice’s visual brand and values while remaining flexible to change. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Art Direction.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Create marketing visuals that are a vibrant expression of the brand while driving growth and retention, including paid ads, landing pages, social graphics, lifecycle campaigns, and event graphics that communicate our constantly evolving ecosystem of products and features.
- Support new and emerging products as they grow, bringing a startup mindset to early-stage work alongside our core brand projects.
- Design brand-led content and storytelling projects, including web experiences, video graphics, and social-first franchises that celebrate the people and stories at the heart of Splice—bringing an experimental, culturally current point of view to every project.
- Understand and correctly apply the Splice identity and brand system across all projects, and help other team members do the same.
- Partner with the Design Lead on larger brand and marketing initiatives across Splice’s growing ecosystem of samples and music tools.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Content teams to produce high-quality, on-brand work quickly and efficiently.
- Own projects end to end, moving quickly from concept to launch, then measuring, learning, and iterating based on results and stakeholder feedback.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5+ years of design experience, ideally including time at a startup or on a small team.
- Skilled at adapting design systems across desktop, mobile, and print.
- Fluent in working within an established brand system, with experience extending or building new brand identities.
- Experience collaborating with other designers, photographers, and creatives.
- Sharp eye for detail and a direct communicator who speaks up in reviews.
- Ability to work on multiple fast-moving projects at once.
- Comfortable storyboarding, wireframing, and sketching ideas to effectively communicate your concepts to your collaborators.
- Fluency in music or creator culture, whether that’s using these tools, following the space, or making things in it yourself.
- Collaborative and open to feedback, equally comfortable working independently, and able to build strong relationships with partners across departments.
- Enjoys contributing to brainstorming sessions and participating in constructive design critiques.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience using AI tools to streamline repetitive tasks and speed up production, freeing up more time for creative work.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with motion design and editorial illustration.
- Other creative skills worth knowing about: web design, photography, illustration, or similar.

Splice
View Company ProfileSplice is the premier, enterprise-grade digital music creation ecosystem, royalty-free sample marketplace, and cloud-native audio workflow innovator engineered to operate as the definitive artistic asset and collaboration layer for music producers, sound designers, and artists globally. The company completely eliminates the severe systemic friction of modern music production—where creators face fragmented sample licensing terms, high upfront costs for premium sound libraries, unbacked project version loss, and complex cross-platform plug-in management hurdles—by deploying an open, high-concurrency cloud subscription infrastructure. Moving far beyond traditional, passive physical sample pack distributions or static loop downloads, Splice natively unifies an expansive catalog of millions of manually curated, royalty-free audio samples, presets, and MIDI files, algorithmic AI-powered sample matching engines (CoRe), automated cloud backup version tracking, and a frictionless Rent-to-Own plug-in distribution pipeline into a single high-availability creator workspace. Trusted by over 4 million music producers worldwide—ranging from bedroom hobbyists to chart-topping, Grammy-winning artists—the platform empowers creators to systematically audition audio components, discover complementary loops, and accelerate production velocity with production-hardened precision. Under the hood, its sophisticated technical architecture natively orchestrates advanced audio feature extraction models, intelligent cross-platform desktop integration hooks, and secure cloud synchronization protocols. What sets Splice apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing fragmented audio distribution channels with absolute artistic momentum; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive acoustic telemetry and seamless local DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) connectivity, the firm remains the absolute, undisputed category cornerstone of modern music technology and digital asset collaboration.
