The Clover Home Care team helps members access the right care at the right time, in the right setting. The team supports members through in-home primary care, annual wellness visits, supportive care, behavioral health, and community services coordination.
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will help maintain accurate, complete records and prepare claims in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Your attention to detail and follow-through will support timely claims submission and reliable Home Care operations.
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will:
- Review data for errors, missing information, and duplicate entries, and resolve or escalate discrepancies.
- Verify that required claims data is complete, create claims in the EMR, and resolve edits needed for submission.
- Learn and use the EMR and other data systems to complete assigned work accurately and on time.
- Support quality assurance across data systems, identify recurring issues, and suggest improvements that reduce errors and rework.
- Collaborate across Clover teams to resolve issues, meet deliverables and performance expectations, and escalate risks to timely completion.
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Success in this role looks like:
- Within 90 days: Use the EMR and core workflows to complete assigned tasks, identify common data issues, and know when to seek support or escalate.
- Within 6 months: Independently manage routine data entry and claims preparation, consistently meet team expectations for accuracy and timeliness, and resolve common edits.
- Over time: Sustain reliable performance, help prevent recurring errors, and contribute practical improvements to data quality and team workflows.
You should get in touch if:
- You have a high school diploma or GED and previous data entry experience. Some college coursework is preferred.
- You are detail-oriented and can identify errors and inconsistencies accurately and efficiently.
- You organize your work, manage competing priorities, and follow through on deadlines.
- You communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and approach problem-solving with patience and a service mindset.
- You are comfortable learning new systems and adapting to changing processes while maintaining accurate work.
