Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Data Analyst to join our core global Analytics division in a full-time remote capacity within the United States (excluding Hawaii). Reporting directly to the Manager of Data Analytics, you will serve as an embedded cross-functional data partner supporting our Go-To-Market (GTM), Clinical Strategy, Customer Success, and Finance teams. Moving entirely past static reporting tasks or passive data monitoring, you will claim individual technical accountability for building, scaling, and maintaining the clean database foundations, dbt code packages, and visualization layers that power our corporate business insights. This high-agency role demands a proactive data craftsman possessing 2+ years of healthcare tech background who transforms messy, ambiguous user telemetry into clear clinical recommendations and presents data limitations confidently to executive leadership cells.

Key Responsibilities

  • dbt Foundation & SQL Codebase Governance: Build, refactor, and maintain modular, well-tested database models and semantic layers natively inside our dbt environment utilizing advanced SQL scripts to establish a single source of truth for key business metrics.
  • Client-Facing Reporting Expansion: Own, configure, and scale interactive client-facing analytics panels, simplifying complex data parameters to empower Customer Success managers and client accounts to visualize member care journeys.
  • Clinical Analytics and ROI Auditing: Execute advanced clinical analytics workstreams, managing Return on Investment (ROI) and Value-of-Investment (VOI) performance guarantee calculations, clinical outcomes data manipulation, and compliance reporting.
  • Python and R Statistical Computing: Analyze complex, non-relational user behavior matrices and population-level health trends natively utilizing statistical data packages inside Python or R execution engines.
  • Business Intelligence Dashboard Engineering: Translate vague corporate inquiries into concrete quantitative parameters, deploying responsive performance dashboards natively over Looker, Tableau, or Omni systems.
  • Upstream Data Platform Collaboration: Partner alongside internal Data Engineering cells to optimize core warehouse performance, driving data validation methodologies and advocating for strict upstream raw data quality control.
  • Ad-Hoc Intake Triage and Automation: Manage and resolve ad-hoc tracking requests from cross-functional teams (RevOps, Finance, Sales), identifying recurrent request profiles to serve as foundational requirements for future self-service automation tooling.
  • Asynchronous Cross-Functional Alignment: Operate independently inside an award-winning, fast-paced startup workforce, maintaining transparent communication mechanics and observing required daily Pacific Time timezone overlap hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of verified professional history running advanced data analytics, business intelligence consulting, health tech data engineering, or clinical software analytics.
  • Deep, authoritative technical command of relational schema configuration and database query optimization natively leveraging SQL and dbt frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience processing, cleaning, and model-fitting unstructured information arrays natively using either Python Scripting or R scripts.
  • Practical production experience designing and deploying interactive corporate performance views over enterprise BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or adjacent software.
  • Outstanding problem-solving logic, with a proven ability to bring structure to highly messy, undefined data blocks while clearly documenting analytical assumptions or data limitations.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics in fluent English, showcasing an absolute capacity to present highly technical statistical findings concisely to non-technical business partners.
  • Immigration Vetting Criteria: Pre-existing, permanent legal right to maintain work authorization in the United States without current or future employer immigration sponsorship or training plan attestations.
  • Location Context & Schedule Parameters: Full-time operational parameters open to qualified data analysts base-stationed permanently anywhere within the United States (excluding Hawaii) to execute 100% from home, paired with readiness to align at least six hours of the workday between 8 am and 5 pm Pacific Time (PT).

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Possession of a Master’s degree in a health informatics, biostatistics, computer science, economics, or related analytical quantitative field of study.
  • Prior practical familiarity navigating digital health environments, processing electronic health data, or auditing healthcare compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, Knox-Keene guidelines).
  • Prior commercial background operating within hyper-growth startup environments, displaying high motivation and the grit to roll up sleeves under fluid situations.
  • Familiarity with collaborative data orchestration tools, data warehouse tracking layers, or open-source analytical code networks.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Region-Calibrated US Salary Matrix: High-yield annual baseline compensation packages structured transparently by location zones (Zone 1 NY/SF Metro: **$106,600 – $125,400 USD** | Zone 2 CA locations/Seattle: **$106,600 – $125,400 USD** | Zone 3 non-metro NY/WA, DC, Austin, IL, MA, etc: **$95,940 – $112,860 USD** | Zone 4 rest of US locations: **$90,610 – $106,590 USD**), supplemented by corporate equity options and flexible rewards.
  • The exceptional professional canvas to directly direct, shape, and deploy the dbt data pipelines and analytics systems driving mental healthcare optimization for over 30 million platform members.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering high lifestyle flexibility, complete execution trust, and zero physical office geographical commuting friction within the United States.
