We are seeking a driven, collaborative Customer Success Manager I to support relationships with professional customers. This person will help ensure that Teamworks' reputation for strong relationship-building, customer experience, and service in the professional market remains an overwhelming competitive advantage.

Our Customer Success team manages significant and growing revenue across professional sports, and as we continue to expand our footprint, we're investing in team members to help provide additional value and support.

The Role

  • Partner with a senior CSM to support a customer portfolio for the full suite of Teamworks products focused on the professional market, with growing ownership over time.
  • Support each step of the customer lifecycle for professional teams, including product training, ongoing value delivery, account expansion, and renewal.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure that they are achieving their goals.
  • Build relationships with professional staff, developing key contacts and deepening product usage.
  • Support renewal conversations and help identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities alongside Sales and senior CSMs.
  • Analyze customer data, draw insights to inform accounts' success, and identify opportunities to increase engagement and drive value.
  • Join on-site visits during key seasonal windows like training camp, pre-season, and in-season check-ins.
  • Develop working knowledge of product functionality and communicate technical capabilities to customers.

What You Must Bring

  • 1-3 years experience working in a professional sports organization.
  • Hands-on experience using Teamworks products, such as Hub, Performance, or Coaching, as an end-user or admin in a pro team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust quickly with multiple staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, specifically the ability to translate technical product workflows into language that makes sense to non-technical staff.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site visits based on league seasonality.

Even Better If

  • You have relationships or credibility within pro organizations, such as with management, performance directors, or operations staff.
  • Experience in account management, customer success, and/or SaaS.
  • Experience with value delivery and client retention best practices.
  • Strong initiative and self-direction; able to understand, react to, and motivate others in changing conditions.
  • Thrives working on a variety of initiatives at a fast pace.
  • People-oriented and quick to connect; enthusiastic, persuasive and collaborative.

This is a chance to have a role in shaping the future of sports, and a career that grows as the company grows. Teamworks has an exceptional culture of high achievement and teamwork. Your colleagues are supportive, humble and take pride in being the top problem solvers and innovators in the business. You'll work alongside senior CSMs on some of our most important pro partners, with a clear path toward independently owning your own book of business as you build credibility in your sport.
