Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative, technically sophisticated Course Developer to join our core global Learning & Development (L&D) squad in a full-time remote capacity within Canada. Positioned within the central People team under Corporate Services, you will claim absolute individual accountability for designing, engineering, and launching high-quality, immersive e-learning content. Moving far past passive document layouts, this role blends high-end video compilation with advanced motion graphics logic to translate abstract network engineering architectures into clean, engaging visual assets. This high-agency seat demands a self-managed digital creator who handles media timelines under pressure, maintains absolute brand consistency, and aggressively reaches for cutting-edge artificial intelligence content engines to accelerate production speeds and scale training programs globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • High-Impact Training Video Production: Edit, enhance, and deploy sophisticated technical instructional videos natively utilizing Premiere Pro, Camtasia, and wider Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Advanced Motion Graphics Architecture: Create, animate, and maintain complex motion design sequences, typography charts, and visual layout frameworks natively inside After Effects to simplify abstract network concepts.
  • Sound Engineering and Audio Polishing: Restore, equalize, and optimize voice-over tracks, background scores, and script narration payloads natively within After Effects and Adobe Audition tools.
  • SME and Instructional Design Alignment: Collaborate closely alongside internal Instructional Designers and engineering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate technical network telemetry into understandable educational content.
  • AI-Augmented Content Acceleration: Experiment with and implement generative artificial intelligence platforms to automate voice cloning, accelerate initial script drafts, and shorten visual editing cycles seamlessly.
  • LMS Platform Governance: Publish, structure, track, and audit interactive e-learning modules and video catalogs directly within the central corporate Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Rigorous Quality Assurance Auditing: Conduct meticulous quality control checks across all learning deliverables, checking video rendering files for pixel formatting errors, tone continuity, and brand alignment.
  • Asset Library Infrastructure Maintenance: Govern and organize localized corporate asset libraries, vector illustrations, reusable graphic templates, and e-learning style guides to sustain pipeline scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven professional history running advanced digital video production, motion graphics design, corporate e-learning curation, or technical multimedia development.
  • Deep, authoritative technical command of advanced visual timeline compilation and vector animations natively inside After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Demonstrated experience converting dense software specifications, structural user documentation, or engineering manuals into accessible corporate training tracks.
  • Solid conceptual command of core design principles, outlining absolute mastery over interface layouts, typography selections, corporate color metrics, and brand architecture.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics, with a proven history keeping project timelines clear and collaborating cross-functionally across remote corporate departments.
  • Location Context: Full-time remote parameters open exclusively to qualified multimedia developers base-stationed permanently anywhere within Canada to operate 100% from home under an async-aligned framework.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior background designing educational toolkits or technical software training assets for prominent international cybersecurity, cloud networking, or enterprise SaaS data management providers.
  • Practical familiarity leveraging AI video generation tools, cognitive scripting engines, or automated speech-to-text parsers to optimize production workflows.
  • Experience configuring course paths or managing user data tables within standard cloud-hosted enterprise Learning Management Systems.
  • A proactive interest in exploring emerging automated video software packages, low-code layout design applications, or immersive digital recording workflows.

What We Offer

  • Attractive Canadian Salaried Structure: A highly stable annual baseline salary range structured transparently between $80,000 – $90,000 CAD per year, supplemented by participation in our discretionary company corporate bonus plan.
  • The exceptional professional canvas to directly direct, shape, and deploy the learning assets educating the elite global clients managing BlueCat’s first-to-market network systems.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering superior lifestyle flexibility, complete schedule trust, and zero physical commuting or geographical friction within Canada.
  • Immediate enrollment into a comprehensive wellness ecosystem, featuring a dedicated corporate **Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA)**.
  • Access to a tailored **Professional Development Budget** to fully fund advanced media design courses, technical animations training, and creative software certifications.
  • Generous time-off benefits, including standard annual leave provisions alongside dedicated company-wide **Wellness Days and an exclusive corporate Wellness Week** to recharge.
  • Immersion into a highly celebrated, inclusive corporate culture that strips away bureaucratic silos to celebrate curiosity, transparency, and the active pursuit of workplace enjoyment.
