We are looking for an experienced Content Manager to join our Kingfisher account team on a six-month contract. This role will be responsible for managing content creation and production activity across multiple brands and product categories, ensuring content is delivered on time, within budget and in line with brand standards.
Acting as the link between brand, category, creative and production stakeholders, you'll oversee content planning, briefing, production governance and asset management. You'll identify opportunities to improve efficiency through content reuse, standardisation and best practice, while ensuring all content supports commercial objectives and delivers a consistent customer experience.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially minded and comfortable managing multiple workstreams within a fast-paced, matrix environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Planning & Delivery
- Plan and coordinate content production activity aligned to brand and category communication plans.
- Develop and maintain content production schedules to ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define content requirements and priorities.
- Identify opportunities for content reuse, optimisation and production efficiency across brands and categories.
Briefing & Production Management
- Create clear, detailed and actionable content briefs with strong attention to styling, presentation and brand requirements.
- Work closely with production, creative and agency partners to oversee content creation from briefing through to delivery.
- Support art direction and production decision-making to ensure content quality and consistency.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality, timelines and stakeholder expectations.
Brand Governance
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity standards.
- Maintain consistency across content produced for multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and product marketing requirements.
Stakeholder & Agency Management
- Act as a key point of contact for content-related workstreams.
- Coordinate reviews, feedback cycles and approval processes across stakeholder groups.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and production partners, including briefing, delivery oversight and performance management.
- Build strong working partnerships across international and cross-functional teams.
Asset & Budget Management
- Conduct content audits and identify opportunities to maximise asset utilisation and content efficiency.
- Manage content production budgets and support forecasting activities.
- Maintain asset libraries and ensure content is correctly published and governed within Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
- Support reporting on content performance, production effectiveness and operational efficiencies.

Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in content management, content production or marketing operations.
- Strong understanding of content creation workflows across digital and marketing channels.
- Experience managing creative, production or agency partners.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Experience managing budgets and production costs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working across international or matrix organisations.
Desirable
- Experience working within retail, eCommerce or customer-facing brands.
- Experience operating within a Digital Asset Management (DAM) environment.
- Knowledge of content governance, taxonomy and asset lifecycle management.
- Experience managing high-volume content production programmes.
