Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Content Distribution Executive (internally designated as a Distribution Executive Level 1) to join our core Packt Partnerships unit within the Content Distribution division. In this full-time remote capacity open across India, you will report directly to the Publishing and Video Distribution Manager, claiming individual technical accountability for the announcement, publishing, and global deployment of Packt products across our corporate website and multiple international channel partner networks. Moving entirely beyond basic file transfers or simple text typing, you will operate at the intersection of media logistics and system architecture. This high-integrity role requires a dynamic candidate with an active interest in software technologies who orchestrates high-volume delivery timelines gracefully, maintains 100% quality metrics through rigorous compliance checks, and troubleshoots multi-platform synchronization drops under fast-paced parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Channel Content Publishing: Execute and manage the formal publication of book and video course modules straight onto the Packt e-commerce web platform, meeting strict timeline parameters.
• Technical Asset Distribution: Transfer and distribute technical products, media assets, and training files to diverse global channel partners in strict alignment with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• LMS and Course Ingestion Governance: Administer, package, and secure digital educational content files across multi-tenant software architectures natively utilizing Online Tutor parameters and strict **SCORM & LMS** directory metrics.
• API and System Integration Triage: Monitor and troubleshoot dynamic cross-platform data exchanges, validating connection nodes across external publisher frameworks natively leveraging **API & system integration** setups.
• Metadata Repositories Management: Audit and maintain comprehensive metadata properties, tracking identifiers, descriptive indexing text, and catalog specifications to elevate product search visibility.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance Auditing: Run rigorous manual and automated validation tests across active channels, checking product availability, link reliability, and compliance parameters on distributed hubs.
• Workflow Documentation Updates: Author and optimize operational runbooks, technical guidelines, and standard best practices for all distribution channels and content curation streams.
• Team Enablement and Knowledge Sharing: Coordinate internal training sessions for fellow team members, onboarding peers regarding new client systems, platform upgrades, and social collaboration workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven professional history running advanced content distribution systems, data administration, digital publishing operations, cloud-native file logistics, or technical project support within an IT or learning space.
• Deep, authoritative technical understanding of instructional technology schemas, showing hands-on history managing, verifying, or configuring course environments natively within **SCORM & LMS** ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting data discrepancies, file transfer faults, and network configuration hitches across modern system endpoints natively using **API & system integration** paths.
• Proven capacity to manage and prioritize multiple distribution requests from various digital channels simultaneously while staying calm and focused under pressure.
• Outstanding organization, attention to detail, and time-management traits, with a demonstrated capability to take ownership of a fast-paced individual workflow with minimal oversight.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics in fluent English, with an absolute capacity to coordinate seamlessly with international line managers and external stakeholders.
