Position Description:

As a Concierge Services, Application Administrator at PAR Technology Corporation, you'll play a key role in helping restaurant brands thrive by managing and optimizing the PAR OPS back-office system for multiple clients. You'll act as an extension of our clients' teams, ensuring their operations run smoothly so they can focus on what they do best - delivering great hospitality.

The PAR OPS back-office solution for restaurants provides functionality around cost of goods, scheduling, payroll, reporting and many other operational purposes. The role of the Concierge Services department is to administrate the PAR OPS program on our clients' behalf and behave as an extension of their team, allowing their entire organization to focus on running their business.

The most important and first task you will be responsible for is learning our software to become a subject matter expert, which will allow you to provide exceptional service to our clients. After completion of the initial training, the learning never stops as new-to-you topics become attainable and software enhancements are released. You will be working within a highly collaborative team atmosphere where asking questions is applauded as the first step to attaining an esoteric knowledge of our software.

The ideal applicant will have experience working with POS and/or back-office programs with an understanding of daily restaurant processes, either directly as a hospitality manager or alongside while supporting restaurants in their use of those systems. You may have been described as the "go-to person" in your company and have enjoyed picking up new technologies.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of experience with POS or back-office systems in the restaurant industry
  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical customer success, implementation, or restaurant IT operations role
  • Familiarity with restaurant workflows and operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for learning and staying current with technology
  • Experience in a client-facing or professional services role
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Track record of success in Professional Services
  • Comfortability in a dynamic, agile atmosphere of a technical organization with an expanding customer base

Additional skills:

  • Communicate clearly and confidently, especially in writing
  • Have a sharp eye for detail and understand how small changes affect the bigger picture
  • Are self-driven but love being part of a collaborative, high-performing team
  • Enjoy solving problems and continuously learning new tools and technologies
  • Can juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Are comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and email services
  • Have the desire and ability to cross-train to other functions as necessary

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

  • Perform ongoing database administration in a timely manner, with a focus on quality and data integrity, becoming a trusted advisor to the clients you work with
  • Receive, interpret and execute existing clients' requests with a primary goal of customer satisfaction in a results-driven and high-paced environment
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the clients you work with by analyzing system usage trends and recommending best practices to maximize operational efficiencies
  • Continuously strive to enhance the client experience and internal efficiency by suggesting process improvement to Concierge Services department leadership
  • Work comfortably in multi-channel support environment of tickets, email, phone and virtual meetings
  • Manage multiple tasks, identify priorities and perform work duties with a sense of urgency
  • Monitor emails and ticket creation for new support opportunities
  • Keep all internal and external tracking systems up to date
