Compliance Counsel

Solace is seeking a Compliance Counsel to help shape the legal and regulatory foundation of a fast-growing healthcare platform. Operating at the intersection of patient advocacy and healthcare law, this role is central to how Solace earns and maintains trust with patients, advocates, and partners nationwide.

As Compliance Counsel, you will provide legal and regulatory guidance on HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and state healthcare requirements, translating complex regulations into actionable policies and systems. Reporting to the Director of Compliance, you will partner across teams to assess regulatory risks, advise on compliance for new products and workflows, and embed compliance directly into operational processes. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting compliance reviews and audits
• Drafting policies and training materials
• Reviewing vendor agreements
• Supporting investigations
• Monitoring regulatory developments

The ideal candidate holds a J.D. with active bar admission in at least one U.S. state and brings 3–6 years of experience in compliance or regulatory legal practice, preferably in healthcare. Strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in evolving regulatory environments are essential.
