Community Engagement Specialist - Reddit (Contract)

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Community Engagement Specialist to join our team as a contractor to monitor relevant subreddits and participate in discussions by providing genuinely helpful, informative responses that naturally highlight Study.com's value.

What You'll Do

• Monitor relevant subreddits for discussions related to our brand and products.
• Participate in Reddit discussions by providing informative responses to build a credible, trusted presence.
• Track Study.com brand mentions across Reddit and respond to inquiries, reviews, and comments authentically.
• Identify trending topics and pain points within the online education space.
• Flag negative sentiment or competitor mentions, and submit daily activity logs with links to all interactions.

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of proven experience engaging on Reddit (with a 2+ year old account) OR 2+ years of community engagement experience.
• Deep familiarity with Reddit's ecosystem: subreddit cultures, community norms, and posting etiquette.
• Strong writing skills with a natural, conversational tone.
• Understanding of how community platform engagement contributes to brand visibility and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
• Self-motivated with the ability to maintain consistent engagement without direct supervision.
