Baseband L3 Software Engineer

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS

• Develop and maintain Baseband L3 software using C/C++.
• Implement software features based on technical specifications and system requirements.
• Work with Linux/Embedded Linux environments.
• Develop and debug software involving multi-threading, concurrency, and real-time processing.
• Work with communication interfaces and protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, or similar technologies.
• Debug software issues using logs, traces, GDB, and other development tools.
• Participate in code review, testing, integration, and software troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineers working on L1, L2, L3, platform, hardware, and testing.
• Learn and apply 4G/5G Baseband concepts, Layer 3 protocols, and 3GPP specifications.
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Address: Hanoi, Hochiminh - Vietnam
• Good programming knowledge in C/C++.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, pointers, memory management, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, or embedded systems.
• Basic understanding of networking or communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.
• Basic understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, or real-time systems is a plus.
• Ability to read technical documentation and troubleshoot programming problems.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn telecommunication and Baseband technologies.

Nice to Have:

• 4G/5G, LTE, NR, RAN, or Baseband development.
• Layer 3 protocols such as RRC or NAS.
• Knowledge of 3GPP specifications.
• Embedded Linux or firmware development.
• RTOS such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks.
• Multi-threaded or real-time application development.
• ARM/SoC/DSP platforms.
• Debugging tools such as GDB, Valgrind, AddressSanitizer, or Wireshark.
• Experience with Git/Gerrit, CMake, Make, or CI/CD.
