Backend Developer

The Role

You will design and develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and data solutions. Working closely with product, frontend, design, and business teams, you will take ownership of technical solutions and help us build secure, scalable, and reliable products.

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript;
• Design relational data models and work with PostgreSQL;
• Build integrations with external platforms, services, and APIs;
• Work with AWS services and cloud-based environments;
• Contribute to architecture, security, scalability, and technical decisions;
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms;
• Optimize application and database performance;
• Develop asynchronous processes and event-driven workflows;
• Contribute to deployments, monitoring, CI/CD, testing, and code quality;
• Collaborate with product, frontend, design, and business teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in backend or fullstack development;
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript;
• Professional experience developing REST APIs and backend services;
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modelling;
• Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms;
• Understanding of integrations, asynchronous operations, authentication, authorization, and application security;
• Experience with Git, testing, clean code, and collaborative development workflows;
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and contribute to technical decisions;
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills;
• Good written and spoken English.
