We are hiring a B2B Credit Policy Manager in our Financial Solutions (New Initiatives) area in Brazil!
This is a Remote – Brazil position, meaning you can work from anywhere within the country. Please note that this role is only open to candidates in Brazil.
As a B2B Credit Policy Manager, you will be one of the key architects of our financial ecosystem. This is not a traditional "back-office" credit position - it is a strategic and highly analytical role, focused on automation and scalability. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing credit policies and processes, using advanced data analytics to automate decision-making for our SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) segment, as well as collaborating across departments to refine our Risk-Based Pricing. YOUR IMPACT
- Strategy Development: Design, implement, and review policies for granting, maintaining, and expanding B2B credit limits.
- Portfolio Risk Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Overdue, Bad Debt, and payment behavior across the active portfolio.
- Pricing and Strategy: Conduct studies to define pricing, calibrating commercial conditions based on risk levels (Risk-Based Pricing) to ensure a balance between competitiveness and contribution margin.
- Score Modeling: Collaborate with the Data team in creating Credit Scoring and Behavior Scoring models specific to Wellhub's business model.
- Strategic Interface: Act as an internal consultant for the Sales and Customer Success teams, balancing portfolio growth with financial health.

WHO YOU ARE
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or related quantitative fields.
- Previous Experience: Proven track record in B2B Credit Risk, specifically in developing credit policies, limit management, and risk-based pricing.
- Technical Tools: Advanced SQL for data extraction and proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker). Knowledge of Python is a strong plus.
- Modeling & Automation: Experience working with automated decision engines and credit scoring models (Application & Behavior); hands-on experience in building or calibrating these models is a plus.
- Financial Analysis: Deep understanding of corporate financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow), especially for the SME segment. Familiarity with recurring revenue/SaaS models is a plus.
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with credit bureaus (Serasa, Boa Vista, Quod) and the Brazilian financial regulatory landscape.
- Skills & Mindset: Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to translate complex data into business strategies and communicate proposals and results to executive stakeholders. "Hands-on" approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- Languages: Advanced English is a plus but not required.
