The successful candidate will support a construction business with payroll processing, supplier onboarding, compliance management, and general HR administration. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with Employment Hero, KeyPay, and Business Central, and the ability to manage high volumes of data in a fast-paced environment.
Payroll Processing
- End-to-end weekly payroll processing, including payrun preparation.
- Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records, contract changes, and pay rates in Employment Hero and KeyPay.
- Ensure payroll deadlines are met, including contract updates by Friday and timesheet processing on Monday.
- Support ad hoc HR administration, including preparing templated letters and updating position descriptions.
General Administration
- Support supplier onboarding and setup, including entering supplier information and coordinating approvals in Business Central.
- Maintain supplier compliance records, ensuring required documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Process approved purchase requisitions, assist with purchase orders, and check supplier details and coding.
- Reconcile supplier statements, follow up on missing invoices or documentation, and assist with supplier audits.
- Provide general HR and administrative support, including data entry, record maintenance, status tracking, and contributing to process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Accounting, or related field.
- 3-5+ years’ experience in payroll, HR, and/or supplier administration.
- Proficiency with Employment Hero, KeyPay, Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central), and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and document management.
- Ability to manage high volumes of compliance documentation and manual follow-ups.
- Experience in construction or other high-compliance industries desirable.
