Key Responsibilities
Learn and contribute to production infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform
Assist in building and maintaining cloud-native services across VKE, VLB, and VCR
Develop hands-on skills with Kubernetes and container runtimes through guided project work
Write and improve tooling and scripts (Go, Python, Bash) to support platform operations
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows for platform services
Dig into issues across networking, containers, and Linux systems with curiosity and persistence
Contribute to Vultr's open-source tools and libraries with guidance from senior engineers
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response as you build operational experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (Go, Python, Bash, or similar)
Basic understanding of Linux systems and command-line operations
Interest in cloud infrastructure, containers, and Kubernetes (prior experience not required)
Strong problem-solving instincts and willingness to dig into unfamiliar systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team
