Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, connection-obsessed, and systems-minded AI Systems Engineer to join our decentralized core Operations matrix under a high-agency full-time remote engagement framework open to builders across the US, UK, and Europe. Operating as our premier forward-deployed systems architect, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability over deconstructing messy, ambiguous workflow problems and engineering them into working, high-revenue automated pipelines. Shifting completely away from routine script tinkering, passive chatbot prompt writing, speculative ticket management, or playing with disconnected AI toys, you will run an active microservices engineering, complex data plumbing, and custom multi-agent orchestration laboratory—partnering face-to-face with our CTO and cross-functional revenue squads. This position requires an engineering veteran and obsessively fast shipper who maps out scalable agentic topologies fluidly natively using AI Engineer mechanics, builds high-yield integrations cleanly natively leveraging advanced Python Scripting, JavaScript, or TypeScript repositories, and commands complex commercial funnels confidently under tight project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Workflow Automation Deconstruction: Deconstruct highly complex, messy real-world corporate workflows across sales ops, marketing funnels, and fulfillment centers into algorithmic steps, automating them cleanly natively utilizing AI Engineer systems.
• Agentic Infrastructure Development: Program, test, and ship robust multi-agent systems, runtime memory blocks, dynamic tool calls, and orchestration layers that core business units and active revenue lines rely upon natively leveraging AI Engineer patterns.
• Rapid Product Prototyping and Scaling: Stand up, iterate, or rebuild scalable product blocks under intense timelines (such as analytical reporting dashboards or app building engines), making sharp build-vs-buy architectural calls.
• Unglamorous Data Plumbing Governance: Claim end-to-end structural ownership over internal data models, background API integrations, webhooks, tracking configurations, and multi-tenant webhook routers.
• Commercial-First Root Cause Triage: Reason through business performance from first principles, writing precise tracking or logic patches to treat underlying transactional funnel problems instead of surface bugs.
• Evals and Failure Mode Testing: Build out automated testing grids and eval workflows to guarantee all shipped agentic infrastructure operates correctly without needing secondary verification or manual review.
• Continuous Platform Optimization: Constantly refactor internal operational backends, integrating new frontier models and execution harnesses the literal week they drop.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional or self-driven track record of success independently building and launching complex tools, automations, or functional software applications that real users interact with.
• Expert-tier capability managing multi-agent loops, constructing runtime context systems, and configuring LLM orchestration parameters natively utilizing AI Engineer engineering methodologies.
• Practical operational familiarity designing scalable cloud connectors, manipulating complex data models, and parsing rich JSON blocks natively using Python Scripting, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Extensive hands-on depth configuring advanced go-to-market (GTM) automation software (with a strong preference for n8n architectural frameworks, or highly complex branching/error-handled Make/Zapier ecosystems).
• Thorough comprehension of digital marketing mechanics, funnels, attribution tracking, or agency business models (understanding conversion rate optimization, cold email delivery infrastructure, or paid ad pipes).
• High-Agency Communication Dynamics: Radical intellectual honesty, the ability to defend code decisions with direct substance, and complete comfort collaborating inside an ultra-blunt, rapid feedback circle.
