Accounting Analyst (Permanent work from home)

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the end-to-end accounting and revenue lifecycle for Merchant Capital Advance (MCA) products, ensuring accurate valuation, funding management, and revenue recognition.

• Monitor and validate repayment activity, ensuring principal and fee collections are accurately recorded and reconciled across payment and financial systems.

• Manage the integrity of software billing processes, including invoices, credit notes, and month-end revenue recognition reconciliations.

• Perform complex reconciliations between operational systems and the General Ledger, leveraging large datasets to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.

• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analyses that provide insights into revenue performance, trends, and key business drivers.

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Strengthen financial controls, audit readiness, and data quality processes to ensure compliance and accuracy across revenue streams.

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

• Previous experience in Revenue Accounting, Finance, Financial Analysis, Revenue Operations, or a similar analytical role within a high-growth technology, SaaS, fintech, or financial services environment.

• Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with large datasets, complex formulas, reconciliations, and financial modeling.

• Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to analyze data and create actionable insights.

• Strong data analysis capabilities, with the ability to cleanse, reconcile, and interpret large volumes of data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

• Experience working with Salesforce and other operational systems to support reporting and financial processes.

• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as NetSuite and automated billing systems is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights.
