What you’ll be doing:
Own the end-to-end accounting and revenue lifecycle for Merchant Capital Advance (MCA) products, ensuring accurate valuation, funding management, and revenue recognition.
Monitor and validate repayment activity, ensuring principal and fee collections are accurately recorded and reconciled across payment and financial systems.
Manage the integrity of software billing processes, including invoices, credit notes, and month-end revenue recognition reconciliations.
Perform complex reconciliations between operational systems and the General Ledger, leveraging large datasets to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analyses that provide insights into revenue performance, trends, and key business drivers.
Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Strengthen financial controls, audit readiness, and data quality processes to ensure compliance and accuracy across revenue streams.
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
Previous experience in Revenue Accounting, Finance, Financial Analysis, Revenue Operations, or a similar analytical role within a high-growth technology, SaaS, fintech, or financial services environment.
Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with large datasets, complex formulas, reconciliations, and financial modeling.
Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to analyze data and create actionable insights.
Strong data analysis capabilities, with the ability to cleanse, reconcile, and interpret large volumes of data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Experience working with Salesforce and other operational systems to support reporting and financial processes.
Familiarity with ERP platforms such as NetSuite and automated billing systems is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights.
