Rackspace Technology is a leading end-to-end multicloud technology services company. Originally, they were a massive web hosting company (competitor to AWS). However, they successfully pivoted to become a 'Managed Service Provider' (MSP). Instead of just competing with giants like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, Rackspace now partners with them. They help businesses migrate to these clouds and manage their complex infrastructure for them. If a company wants to use the cloud but doesn't have the experts to run it, they hire Rackspace to handle everything—from architecture to security.
