Axelera AI (operating at axelera.ai) is a semiconductor company specializing in AI processing units (AIPUs) engineered for edge and data center applications. Founded in 2021 as a spin-off from imec and headquartered in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, Axelera AI brings AI inference out of the cloud and closer to data sources, enabling advanced vision, generative AI, robotics, and large language models to operate efficiently at the edge.
