Workday Deployment Support Consultant

About the Role: Ambient Enterprises is a group of 25 nationwide industry leaders providing custom HVAC products and services. We are seeking an experienced Workday Deployment Support Consultant for a 6-month contract to support our team through an active Workday deployment. You will work closely with our internal project team, functional leads, and integration partners.

What You'll Do

• Lead and facilitate structured Workday testing efforts, including unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Document, track, and manage defects and enhancement requests in Jira.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across Workday modules, including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, and Learning.
• Support the Advanced Compensation build, identify configuration gaps, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Review and validate training materials, providing actionable feedback to ensure smooth transitions for end users.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with expertise across HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, and Learning.
• Proven experience leading or supporting Workday testing efforts (UAT, integration testing) in implementation or post-production environments.
• Strong experience with Jira or similar issue/defect tracking tools.
• Understanding of Workday integrations, including data flow, architecture, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to guide non-technical users effectively.
