Video Editor/Content & Social Media Coordinator

Who The Client Is: Our client is a brand-building company that has worked with over 1,000 product brands, generating over $120M in revenue. They are now expanding their own group of brands, including apparel, pet, and lifestyle products, and require an editor to maintain their content momentum.

Role Overview: You will serve as a Video Editor responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) for two founders' personal brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing: Transform raw footage into dynamic short-form content, ensuring pacing and engagement are optimized.
• Sound and graphics: Incorporate captions, sound effects, music, motion graphics, and on-screen text to enhance videos.
• Colour grading: Ensure videos have a polished, consistent look through careful colour correction.
• Style adherence: Follow the provided style guide and match the established formats and examples.
• Output: Deliver 25 to 30 short-form videos weekly.
• Revisions: Implement requested changes promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Who You Are:

You possess expertise in editing short-form content and have a keen understanding of what resonates on social media platforms.

• You have a strong sense of pacing and hooks to create compelling content.
• You possess an eye for quality, distinguishing between premium and subpar visuals.
• You are proficient in using DaVinci Resolve.

Ideal but not essential (We can teach you):

• Experience in growing a social media account.
