About Hudu: Hudu (hudu.com) is a fast-growing, highly intuitive SaaS platform built exclusively to streamline knowledge management for IT professionals and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). We provide modern engineering teams with a single, secure, and beautifully simple workspace to store, map, and share critical infrastructure data—encompassing network documentation, secure passwords, operational processes, asset catalogs, and client details. By replacing scattered spreadsheets, fragmented wikis, and disconnected legacy utilities with one unified, deeply customizable asset repository, Hudu helps thousands of global IT teams save time, reduce risk, and scale infrastructure with absolute confidence.

Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile, self-directed, and user-obsessed UI/UX Designer to join our centralized Engineering team under a permanent, full-time remote engagement framework within the United States. Operating as our primary product experience builder, you will step up to claim direct user interface design, interface prototyping, and empirical usability validation accountability across our expanding software suite. Shifting completely away from routine text content copywriting, manual data entering, or basic customer helpdesk ticketing, you will run an active qualitative user research, interactive wireframing, and design system governance laboratory—partnering face-to-face with core software engineers, product owners, marketing specialists, and executive firm leadership. This position requires a digital design authority with 4+ years of product experience who shapes application assets fluidly natively using UI/UX Design best practices, evaluates user behavior patterns cleanly inside expert-level Figma layers, and directs continuous deployment handoffs confidently across modern mobile and web environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • UX Investigation and Optimization: Analyze and investigate user experience parameters across our digital suite, identifying workflow friction and engineering higher-performing, elegant interface alternatives.
  • Design System Architecture: Maximize the utilization and scalability of our centralized component library, constructing standardized UI elements (navigation paths, smart search blocks, dashboard widgets) cleanly natively utilizing UI/UX Design typography and layout constraints.
  • Iterative High-Fidelity Prototyping: Translate abstract product features rapidly into high-fidelity visual mockups, supplying multiple creative layout tracks along with structured "Pros vs. Cons" breakdowns to guide team-wide alignment.
  • Hands-On User Research: Formulate, conduct, and interpret end-to-end user research initiatives and remote usability testing to actively isolate edge-case behaviors and validate architectural interface choices.
  • Clean Engineering Handoff: Prepare, document, and structuralize pixel-perfect Figma design layers to guarantee a seamless, zero-ambiguity asset handoff to our backend and frontend dev teams.
  • Cross-Departmental Asset Support: Collaborate closely with growth and sales squads to supply polished, accurate product images and visual templates supporting high-visibility Go-To-Market (GTM) campaigns.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of verified professional history operating as a UI/UX designer, digital interaction architect, or mobile/web product designer for live software ecosystems.
  • Technical Portfolio Requirement: Must present an active, robust professional portfolio demonstrating successfully shipped interface work across both responsive web layouts and native mobile applications.
  • Expert-level mastery navigating and organizing layout components inside Figma, demonstrating advanced understanding of auto-layouts, variants, and prototyping variables.
  • Comprehensive familiarity with current web and mobile interface best practices, showing deep design agility and layout precision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication strengths in English, with a proven capability to articulate design reasoning and logical parameters clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Educational Track: Possesses a Bachelor’s degree or advanced certification in Product Design, UI/UX Design, Digital Media, or an equivalent technical field of study (equivalent practical agency depth is equally valued).
  • Location Context: Position features 100% remote parameters open exclusively to qualified digital designers operating from an established home workspace within the United States.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience designing enterprise documentation networks, secure password vaults, or IT system management tools.
  • Functional background or basic literacy with asset management inside Canva to streamline marketing asset handoffs.

What We Offer

  • Transparent, Experience-Calibrated Compensation Blueprint: A definitive annual base salary range of $50,000 – $100,000 USD, customized precisely to match your unique design background and technical asset depth.
  • Comprehensive health insurance plan options to protect your physical well-being.
  • Robust retirement framework via a matched 401(k) investment plan with structured company matching percentages.
  • Generous paid time-off (PTO) parameters coupled with highly flexible daily work hours to promote healthy work-life balance.
  • The ultimate professional canvas to claim absolute ownership over the look and feel of a scaling SaaS product, pushing innovations directly to a highly appreciative user base.
