Translator (English to Hungarian) - Short-Term Project

We are looking for a Translator to interpret written pieces from English to Hungarian for a short-term project, ensuring the original meaning, format, and tone are maintained.

The role involves reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given materials (copy), utilizing specialized dictionaries and translation tools, and proofreading finished pieces of work. Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail and fluency in English alongside your native language.

Requirements

• Native Hungarian Speaker
• Availability of at least 3-5 hours per week

Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role.

Excellent proofreading skills, including the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.

Good knowledge of content editing tools.

Familiarity with translation software.

Strong time-management skills.

Benefits

This is a short-term (1-week) temporary project offering compensation of $15–$17 per hour. The hourly rate accounts for time spent on researching, brainstorming, and proofreading.
