Trade Line Manager, Mold

Protect Environmental is seeking a Trade Line Manager, Mold to join their team. In this role, you’ll serve as the subject matter expert for their mold service line, helping drive consistent, high-quality mold inspection, remediation, and sales practices across multiple markets.

Core Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for mold inspection, remediation, and sanitation practices
• Train, coach, and support technicians and managers across local offices and job sites
• Conduct field ride-alongs and job site visits to observe techniques and provide hands-on coaching
• Develop and maintain mold training materials, job aids, and standard operating procedures
• Partner with local leadership to identify performance gaps and develop improvement plans
• Monitor mold service line performance metrics, including revenue, close rates, customer satisfaction, and callbacks
• Recommend corrective actions and support teams in achieving performance goals
• Stay current on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
• Support onboarding and training for new hires within the mold trade line
• Partner with marketing and sales leadership on mold-specific campaigns
• Document training activities, site visits, observations, and findings
• Represent Protect Environmental professionally with customers, partners, and local teams

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in mold inspection, remediation, or related environmental services
• Experience training, coaching, or leading technicians or field teams
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with field teams and local leadership
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities across different markets
• Comfortable reviewing performance metrics and using data for improvement
• Self-motivated, able to work independently while traveling
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related productivity software
• Comfortable learning and using new technology, including platforms like ServiceTitan
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history
• Enjoy traveling and working with teams in different locations

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications preferred
• IICRC Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS) certification or applicable state mold remediation license
• Proven experience training, coaching, or developing others in a field services or trade environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a multi-market territory
• Ability to walk, climb ladders, and access attics, crawlspaces, and basements
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a background check
