Job Description
About the Role: NPR is looking for a Temporary Junior Designer, Brand & Communication to join our fast-paced team of copywriters, designers, strategists, and project managers. You will apply creative savvy and top-notch design expertise to strengthen NPR's brand and attract new users to its ever-growing portfolio of shows.
What You'll Do
- Build out brand assets and systems following concepts from senior designers, including logos, podcast tiles, key art, and social media templates.
- Create marketing campaigns that follow existing brand guidelines and systems.
- Build campaign assets: digital and social ads, Apple/Spotify art, illustrations, animations, and graphic systems.
- Actively contribute ideas to team brainstorms and collaborate with copywriters and senior designers.
What You Bring
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design and digital advertising.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Passion for brands, marketing, and creative campaigns.
- Bonus: Basic knowledge of Premiere and/or After Effects, and experience working with copywriters.
