Technical Support Engineer (L3)

Job Description

About the Role: At Redis, we built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. We are looking for an L3 Technical Support Engineer to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for name-brand customers. You will level up to be an expert problem solver on Redis Enterprise Software, diving deep into forefront technologies across top Cloud Platforms and container orchestration platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues by reproducing customer environments.
  • Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and analyze performance questions along the data path, including networks for Cloud or On-premises deployments.
  • Provide technical expertise during testing, deployment, and upgrading of Redis software.
  • Manage critical customer issues, facilitating communication between customers, CloudOps, Engineering, Product, and Sales.
  • Document issues, contribute to internal knowledge bases, and participate in new product development and customer training.

What You Bring

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in the enterprise software industry.
  • Expert working knowledge in Linux/Unix and networking (TCP/IP).
  • Strong background in scripting or programming languages and working knowledge of Cloud-based and On-premise environments.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Bonus: Experience with NoSQL databases (especially Redis) and container orchestration environments like Kubernetes.
