Tax Manager, EMEA

The Global Tax team at Hims & Hers is expanding to support the company’s continued growth across the EMEA region. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented tax professional to serve as the tax lead for EMEA.

The Tax Manager, EMEA will take ownership of all tax provision, compliance, and tax audit matters for the region, collaborating closely with external advisors, local finance/accounting teams, and the U.S.-based corporate tax team on cross-border tax matters. This role reports to the Senior Manager, International Tax.

Responsibilities:

• Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions for EMEA entities under U.S. GAAP and local statutory standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of corporate income tax and indirect tax filings across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, working with accounting/finance teams and external tax advisors.
• Assist with operational tax matters, including withholding taxes and tax registrations.
• Support and manage tax audits, enquiries, and correspondence with local tax authorities.
• Partner closely with the U.S. tax team, corporate legal, and accounting teams on initiatives like entity restructuring, transfer pricing documentation, and permanent establishment (PE) risks analysis.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across the region and assess business impact.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for new business and existing operations in EMEA.
• Communicate status/issues to the Senior Manager, International Tax for all EMEA entities.
• Conduct EMEA tax research to resolve issues and collaborate with external advisers for business initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax compliance calendars and documentation, ensuring robust control and risk management.
• Develop tax staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.

Experience & Skills:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or tax is required.
• At least 5 years’ experience in corporate tax gained within a multinational organization or Big 4/public accounting environment.
• A professional qualification in Tax, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of EMEA direct and indirect tax rules, reporting obligations, and tax accounting standards.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP tax provision preparation and review (ASC 740) is preferred.
• Familiarity with transfer pricing principles and international tax frameworks (e.g., BEPS, Pillar Two).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with the U.S.-based tax team across time zones.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment.
