About Webflow: Webflow is building the world’s leading AI-native Digital Experience Platform (DXP), operating as an elite, remote-first technology company built on deep transparency, trust, and creative execution. From solo entrepreneurs launching their first concepts to scaling Fortune-500 global enterprises, Webflow brings raw software development superpowers to everyone—allowing teams to visually design, launch, and optimize high-performance web spaces safely without engineering barriers. We believe the future of software development is more open and equitable, and we are accelerating that landscape globally.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly sophisticated, process-driven Staff Software Engineer for our Developer Productivity vertical. In this elite technical leadership role, you will define, design, and champion the end-to-end continuous deployment strategy and system architectures that fuel internal engineering velocity at scale. This is a high-yield track focused entirely on slashing cycle times, engineering progressive application delivery frameworks, and building world-class developer experiences across our global software teams as a permanent, full-time employee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deployment Strategy Architecture: Architect and drive Webflow’s global end-to-end software deployment strategy, spanning cloud-native CI automation pipelines to complex production rollouts.
  • GitOps Platform Ownership: Manage, scale, and optimize our centralized GitOps-driven deployment frameworks, explicitly leveraging tools like ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts.
  • Progressive Delivery Engineering: Build and enforce secure, automated canary environments, blue/green traffic splitting logic, dynamic feature flags, and instant telemetry-driven rollbacks.
  • Technical Direction Governance: Set cross-team technical guidelines, leading architecture tradeoffs and engineering code reviews that maximize system reliability and runtime developer velocity.
  • Internal Tooling Synthesis: Develop, test, and expand custom internal automation tools to accelerate compilation frameworks and local verification environments.
  • Observability & Reliability Operations: Uphold rigorous operational excellence standards through deep telemetry monitoring, alerting configurations, and post-incident platform enhancements.
  • Engineering Mentorship: Act as an elite technical force multiplier, coaching staff developers and influencing organizational design across multi-functional squads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of verified professional experience operating within technical DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or complex Cloud Infrastructure Engineering environments.
  • Deep master-level command over container orchestration layers utilizing Kubernetes (K8s) and GitOps automation configurations.
  • Proven background designing, tuning, and scaling high-velocity CI/CD systems within large-scale distributed engineering organizations.
  • Strong track record turning ambiguous, cross-cutting infrastructure problems into concrete, well-documented technical roadmaps.
  • Deep conceptual and operational knowledge of major cloud infrastructure providers (specifically AWS), containerization tools (Docker), and distributed microservices parameters.
  • Hands-on operational fluency writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing declarative platforms such as Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Business-level English fluency to read, write, and present architectural design arguments comfortably to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Location Context: 100% remote-first working infrastructure and flexible task tracking open to qualified engineering leaders based within Argentina.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • An undergraduate BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field of quantitative practice.
  • Proactive curiosity and technical fluency adopting AI-assisted code tools or agentic development assistant loops to optimize system automation workflows.

What We Offer

  • Corporate Equity: Generous equity allocation via Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) in a hyper-growth, privately held market leader.
  • Comprehensive health coverage with premium medical, dental, and vision insurance policies for employees and eligible dependents (with Webflow funding the vast majority of premiums).
  • Extended family support benefits including 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all parents (plus an additional 6+ weeks of paid leave lines for birthing parents).
  • Global retirement savings support mechanisms including an annual WIN company-wide performance bonus program.
  • Flexible vacation allowances, paid company holidays, and a dedicated structural sabbatical framework to refresh your creative energy.
  • Access to holistic mental health resources, counseling networks, and regular monthly work/wellness stipends matching localized parameters (covering high-speed internet data connections and fitness goals).
