Staff Program Manager, Enterprise Technology & AI

About the Role: GitLab is the intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps. As a Staff Program Manager within our Enterprise Technology organization, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology programs that advance our enterprise IT strategy. You'll serve as a trusted advisor and program execution partner to IT leadership, translating strategic objectives into structured roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end program management for large-scale or high-complexity Enterprise Technology & AI initiatives.
• Define and communicate clear success metrics, reporting status and risks to leadership on a regular cadence.
• Drive cross-functional alignment by facilitating decision-making and resolving dependencies across distributed teams.
• Recommend and implement improvements to program governance frameworks, intake processes, and ways of working.
• Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear, actionable work plans.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of program management experience, delivering large, cross-functional Enterprise Technology & AI programs.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex processes and drive alignment across functions (Finance, Legal, Sales, Product).
• Familiarity with Enterprise IT domains such as business systems, data, AI, security, or enterprise architecture.
• Proficiency with program and project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe). PMP or CSM is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to Executive audiences.
