About bunny.net: Some people accept the internet as it is. We see what it could be. At bunny.net, we don’t wait for change; we make it happen. You won’t find layers of red tape or play-it-safe thinking here. Instead, you’ll find an ultra-fast, distributed team of problem-solvers who move quickly, take radical ownership, and push ideas all the way to the edge—literally. We build high-performance infrastructure services and cloud-native tools that make web content hop faster globally. We are expanding rapidly from specialized infrastructure delivery into a comprehensive, developer-first platform that helps engineers ship code faster and scale globally without management friction.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, technically profound, and product-led Staff Product Manager to lead our Developer Products division under a permanent, full-time remote setup optimized for Europe and compatible time zones. In this principal leadership role, you will take complete ownership of the vision, strategy, and roadmap for products that power the future of internet infrastructure—including Magic Containers, managed Edge Databases, and serverless Scripting layers. Shifting completely away from routine virtual assistant scheduling, generic data entry forms, or administrative office paperwork, you will work directly at the intersection of complex software engineering and Developer Experience (DX). This position requires a product authority with extensive experience serving technical audiences who shapes scalable infrastructure products natively using Project Management paradigms, designs onboarding and activation funnels to accelerate product-led growth, and brings deep clarity to technical ambiguity so our engineering teams can deploy platforms that developers absolutely love.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Own, define, and evangelize the overarching product vision, strategic direction, and technical roadmaps for bunny.net emerging developer platform services natively utilizing Project Management methodologies.
  • Product-Led Growth (PLG) Execution: Drive developer activation, adoption, and retention loops by constantly experimenting with and optimizing onboarding flows and developer interaction models.
  • Developer Empathy & Research: Maintain continuous customer engagement and deep technical market research to map exactly what developers are trying to build, translating friction points into product capabilities.
  • Engineering Collaboration & Trade-Offs: Partner closely with infrastructure, cloud, and systems engineers to navigate architectural trade-offs, manage backlogs, and steadily deploy high-impact platform tools.
  • Metrics & Telemetry Instrumentation: Define, track, and instrument core success metrics, moving beyond dashboard consumption to actively build the experimentation and analytic structures that validate business outcomes.
  • Commercial Positioning & Pricing: Influence pricing tiers, developer packaging, and feature positioning to ensure complex infrastructure remains simple to understand, friction-free to adopt, and scales naturally with usage.
  • AI-Powered Velocity: Responsibly leverage cutting-edge AI utilities to compress delivery cycles and enhance product discovery, while keeping developer security, product taste, and solid human judgment at the center of all roadmap decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven professional history operating as a Product Manager, Technical Product Lead, or Platform Architect building software explicitly tailored for developers, DevOps teams, or deeply technical audiences.
  • Infrastructural Stack Familiarity: Solid technical grasp of modern internet infrastructure across edge compute layers, managed cloud storage, serverless runtimes, and high-throughput data nodes.
  • Exceptional product judgment inside highly complex technical domains, with a demonstrated ability to bring absolute structural clarity to ambiguous platform situations.
  • Analytics & Instrumentation Taste: Hands-on experience working directly with data instrumentation, telemetry tracking, and feature experimentation setups.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a native knack for translating complex, abstract engineering systems into elegant, easy-to-understand concepts.
  • Location Context: Position operates under remote geographic guidelines optimized for Europe or locations within CET ±5 hours to ensure natural, synchronous collaboration across teams.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Pre-existing familiarity with bunny.net’s product ecosystem (CDN, DNS, Edge Storage) and active concepts on how they can technically evolve.
  • Proven background steering software groups through the transition from high-velocity startup to scaled enterprise without introducing bureaucratic drag.
  • A deep passion for developer experience (DX), clean documentation habits, and elegant technical design choices.

What We Offer

  • 100% Flexible Working Hours: Your work, your rhythm. Choose the exact schedule that optimizes your productivity and creative output.
  • Remote-First Freedom by Design: Total geographical independence to work anywhere across Europe or compatible timezones with no daily commutes.
  • Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP): Direct ownership in our growing enterprise, starting with a base equity grant of 0.01%.
  • Comprehensive worldwide medical, dental, and vision healthcare coverage packages.
  • Generous Paid Time Off including 25 base vacation days, progressing with loyalty milestones up to 30 total days, plus local public holidays and paid sick leave.
  • Meeting-Free Thursdays: Dedicated internal focus days to dive deep into engineering architecture and product strategies without calendar disruptions.
  • Dedicated annual budgets including €500 for home office setup optimization, €480 for personal wellness, and €500 for educational development.
  • Annual Global Fluffle Gathering—fully sponsored team retreats in sunny international locations to turn virtual high-fives into real ones.
