Staff Full Stack Engineer

About the Role: Assured is on a mission to modernize the insurance industry by building the engine that powers claims processing. We are seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to help define the future of our B2B SaaS platform. This is a highly technical role for someone who operates across the stack and embraces AI-assisted engineering as a force multiplier for velocity and product quality.

What You'll Do

• Build across the stack—from backend services and infrastructure to polished frontend experiences—owning features from concept to deployment.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) daily to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Identify and implement opportunities to integrate AI into both our product and internal engineering workflows.
• Drive architectural decisions and platform improvements that ensure long-term scalability and flexibility.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the organization through leadership and engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with product and design to turn customer feedback and prototypes into intuitive, performant user experiences.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally within SaaS or large-scale web applications.
• Proven ability to design and ship complex systems end-to-end across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and data layers.
• Strong proficiency with modern AI engineering tools and a track record of using them to code, debug, and prototype.
• A bias toward execution and iteration—you move quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Strong product and UX instincts with a deep care for delivering polished user experiences.
• Collaborative, low-ego approach with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
