Staff Data Scientist

About the Role: Phantom is the modern money app used by tens of millions around the world, bringing all the control and flexibility of crypto-powered finance into mainstream consumer finance. As a Staff Data Scientist focused on product analytics at Phantom, you'll be helping our product teams make data-driven decisions. You will influence strategic product and infrastructure decisions as we bridge the gap between the blockchain and a delightful user experience.

What You'll Do

• Generate and communicate data-driven insights to influence product and business decisions.
• Develop metrics and experiments to understand growth and measure the impact of product and operational changes.
• Work collaboratively as a member of the Growth team, contributing to the company roadmap alongside Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations.
• Design experiments and conduct funnel analysis using statistical concepts.
• Analyze, clean, and prepare reports on large, diverse data sets.

What You Bring

• 7+ years working in product-driven organizations and driving decision-making.
• Demonstrated track record of using data analysis to drive impact with cross-functional partners.
• Experience with experiment design, funnel analysis, and statistical concepts (selection bias, probability distributions, conditional probabilities).
• Mastery of SQL and familiarity with R and/or Python for analysis and model-building.
• Bonus: Professional experience with data sets in crypto, NFTs, and DeFi.
