Tech Holding specializes in helping fast-growing platforms optimize their processing velocities, align data architectures, and unlock sustainable growth. The firm provides high-agency senior data analysts with an uncompromised remote canvas to leverage modern cloud databases, manipulate multi-million-row analytics environments, and design advanced statistical forecasting models safely across Mexico.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Senior Data Analyst for a high-leverage, project-based contract assignment to help drive data-driven decision making across a fast-growing e-commerce and subscription-based business ecosystem. Operating as a critical cross-functional contributor based remotely in Mexico, you will step up to claim individual operational and strategic accountability for transforming complex, disconnected user datasets into actionable business recommendations. Shifting completely away from routine script typing, basic clerical ledger updates, or passive dashboard monitoring, you will act as a principal data architect—partnering face-to-face with Product, Marketing, Merchandising, and Engineering teams to maximize customer retention, user experience personalization, and operational efficiencies. This position requires an e-commerce intelligence veteran with 4+ years of data depth who models longitudinal customer journeys fluidly natively using Data Scientist statistical primitives, builds performant automated pipelines smoothly natively using Data Analyst scripting libraries, and maps large data configurations confidently inside cloud warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Intelligence Architecture Curation: Build, scale, and maintain high-fidelity corporate reporting dashboards, multi-tenant interactive reports, and specialized ad hoc analyses natively utilizing Tableau and Snowflake environments.
  • Advanced Statistical Strategy Implementation: Lead complex experimental design, hypothesis testing, A/B testing frameworks, multi-variable regression analysis, and transactional forecasting to inform product layouts and marketing acquisition strategy natively leveraging Data Scientist parameters.
  • Data Pipeline and Process Automation: Develop, test, and optimize automated data transformation queries and workflow orchestration tools in Python or SQL, utilizing dbt models and Apache Airflow DAGs to monitor data quality and alert stakeholders in real time.
  • E-Commerce Retention Metrics Triage: Extract and synthesize advanced analytics around customer acquisition costs (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), churn velocity, and user behavioral paths within a dedicated subscription-based e-commerce framework natively using Data Analyst tools.
  • Cross-Functional Strategic Coordination: Partner in lockstep with distributed Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management cells to align abstract business needs with robust backend data initiatives and drive agile execution.
  • Compelling Communication and Data Storytelling: Translate sophisticated technical details, model architectures, and data anomalies into clear, scannable narratives and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Rigorous Data Quality Control: Audit relational rows and incoming telemetry records systematically to eliminate technical debt, map data dependencies, and enforce strict reproducibility baselines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of verified professional history running advanced data analytics, corporate business intelligence engineering, data warehouse development, or big data consulting.
  • A minimum of 2 years of documented experience explicitly providing technical guidance, project scoping, query optimization advice, or architectural code mentorship to development teams.
  • Mandatory Domain Sourcing Experience: Proven, hands-on history executing data analytics inside a fast-moving e-commerce setting, with deep preferred familiarity tracking subscription-based retention and consumer transactional models.
  • Deep, authoritative technical command of statistical methods, experimental design, predictive forecasting models, and source-to-target data mapping schemas.
  • Expert-tier capability modeling customer matrices, building relational queries, and creating automated workflow scripts natively utilizing Data Scientist frameworks.
  • Practical operational familiarity configuring interactive charts, tuning data frames, and maintaining data assets natively using Data Analyst tools (specifically requiring strong hands-on mastery of SQL, Python or R, Snowflake, and Tableau).
  • Possession of a formal university Bachelor degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative social science or engineering discipline.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication traits in fluent English, enabling uncompromised clarity when translating technical calculations into high-level business strategies before mixed corporate audiences.
  • Location Context and Compliance Notice: Position structured as a project-based contract role open exclusively to qualified analytics consultants based permanently and resident within **Mexico** to operate under a 100% remote home-office layout. Applicants must possess active baseline authorization to work in Mexico.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior commercial analytics history operating explicitly with machine learning algorithms, personalized recommendation engines, or advanced cohort decay modeling.
  • Deep conceptual knowledge of specific e-commerce performance KPIs, multi-channel attribution frameworks, and web session tracking pipelines.
  • An outcome-driven personal philosophy rooted in immense data curiosity, a self-managing work ethic that thrives in fast-paced startup contexts, and a passion for turning raw code into high-trust strategic solutions.

What We Offer

  • Experience-Calibrated Mexican Contracting Blueprint: Highly competitive full-time baseline contractor compensation rates tailored precisely to reflect your quantitative analytics authority, SQL/Python craftsmanship, and e-commerce data velocity across a dedicated project horizon.
  • The exceptional professional canvas to directly shape, lead, and code-engineer the data models power-routing retention and growth for a rapidly scaling subscription e-commerce provider.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering a 100% remote layout, complete scheduling trust, and zero physical geographic office commuting friction out of any major city in Mexico.
  • Integration into an inclusive corporate culture backed by industry veterans that values deep expertise, absolute data integrity, and cross-functional agile collaboration.
