Sr. Network Engineer

About the Role: Atlas Technica is looking for a skilled Sr. Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support the network infrastructure for our growing client base (hedge funds and investment firms) and our firm. You will work within our systems engineering team to develop scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures.

What You'll Do

• Organize network maintenance, system upgrades, and security configurations.
• Install, implement, and configure network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the security team.
• Work with vendors and IT personnel to resolve complex networking issues faster.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with extensive experience with vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, HP, Ubiquiti, or Aruba.
• Strong experience with next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto experience is a must) and managing 20+ firewalls in Panorama.
• Working knowledge of VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN), networking protocols (BGP, OSPF), and Zero Trust models.
• 1+ years of experience working in AWS or Azure, including cloud-based networking (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
• Bonus: CCNA/CCNP or similar certifications, and experience implementing Palo Alto Firewalls or PAN OS SDWAN in AWS & Azure.
