Sr Consulting Engineer

About the Role: Redis helps organizations reimagine how fast they can process, analyze, and take action on data. As a Sr Consulting Engineer, you will consult for and collaborate with customers to create customized Redis-powered solutions. You will design, develop, and deliver data service solutions across development, QA, and production environments, helping clients increase business value and overcome technical challenges.

What You'll Do

• Develop technical expertise with Redis Enterprise and serve as a subject matter expert for customers.
• Provide hands-on technical implementation services, including end-to-end testing of completed solutions within customer environments.
• Assist customers with their Redis development projects using programming languages such as Java, MS.NET C#, Python, and Go.
• Deliver remote and onsite product training to customers in a highly professional and educational manner.
• Collaborate with the Sales organization to identify new business opportunities and provide feedback to Product and R&D teams.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in post-sales consulting (ideally database engineering) for enterprise software.
• Hands-on experience with client library and server-side code development, RESTful APIs, and Linux.
• In-depth hands-on experience with one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Bonus: Prior experience with scalable distributed systems, Docker, and Kubernetes.
